So long, Girls! Lena Dunham debuts new hairdo with blonde tips with costars ahead of final season premiere

Lena Dunham has debuted a bangin’ new look ahead of her show Girls’ sixth and final season premiere.

And to mark the beginning of the end, the series creator and actress took to Instagram on Tuesday to show her style progression from girl to woman, some of her social media fans observed.

The 30-year-old cut a sleek figure with ombre tresses that incorporated wavy, golden tips and medium brown color at the top. Her bangs were trimmed slightly above her eyebrows, and the look was complemented with a generous touch of eyeliner and a soft pale matte lip.

The Lenny Letter blogger’s ensemble was a fine companion to the overall mod style that she channelled. The scribe had on a cream-colored graphic print shift dress with a matching jacket.

‘2/12/17,’ she added in the caption, referencing the comedy’s premiere date.

Her costars looked equally chic in the picture. Allison Williams styled her hair in a goddess braid and wore a green jumpsuit; Zosia Mamet had a honey blonde hair color and a white one-shoulder peplum blouse with black leather trousers. Jemima Kirke looked edgy with short blonde locks and a flirty black dress. She added a pop of color to the ensemble with a bright red lip.
