Karlie Kloss 'cancels' TV appearance after no guarantee they WON'T ask about Taylor Swift or Donald Trump... but the model seems carefree as she steps out ahead of David Jones debut

And on Tuesday, Karlie Kloss showed exactly why as she stepped out in a figure-hugging black dress in Sydney.

The 24-year-old stunner turned heads as she strolled around town, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect as she prepares to walk the runway at the David Jones Autumn/ Winter show on Wednesday night.

Karlie's outing comes as The Daily Telegraph reports the star's team cancelled an appearance on Sunrise, after the program refused to concede to their interview terms.

According to a source quoted in the publication, Karlie was scheduled to appear on the breakfast TV show on Tuesday morning, but 'backed out at the last minute'. 

Karlie is one of Taylor Swift's closest pals but reportedly requested not to be asked about her friendship with the pop superstar.

Similarly off limits according to the publication was talk about politics, Donald Trump and her boyfriend, Joshua Kushner, who happens to be Ivanka Trump's brother-in-law.

When the program made no guarantees 'they were told that Karlie would not do the interview'.

The Daily Telegraph also states that during her stay Down Under, Karlie's interviews have been patrolled by a team of five managers, in an effort to curb any curly questions.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Karlie's representatives for comment.

Meanwhile, the gorgeous star showed no signs of any strain, appearing unfazed by the city's sweltering 37-degree heat, looking flawless in the strapless black dress.

The garment rested just below the knee, and was buttoned from top-to-bottom along the left hand side. 

The tight dress showed off Karlie's phenomenal fit physique.

The blonde beauty clutched her phone tightly, and completed her stylish outfit with a small white handbag. 

Adding to her already statuesque 5ft 11in of height, the supermodel rounded out her ensemble with a matching pair of black heels.

Strutting down the street, perhaps Karlie was putting in some practice ahead of her debut runway appearance for David Jones.

The model is the star attraction for the department store's Autumn/ Winter show, and will appear alongside David Jones regulars Jessica Gomes and Jesinta Campbell. 

Karlie, who is the world's third highest-paid supermodel, is reportedly being paid $1.5 million by the retail giant for the appearance, according to The Daily Telegraph.

The blonde beauty flew to Sydney on Monday from Melbourne, where she was seen at both the women's and men's finals of the Australian Open.
