Red hot! On Monday Mariah Carey took to Instagram to tease her new single, I Don't, four days ahead of its release

In the sexy promo shot, Mariah wrapped her arms around herself to draw attention to the fact that she isn't wearing a diamond on her left ring finger.

The sultry image of the songstress also featured the words: 'Mariah Carey I DON'T #4DaysIDon't.'

This comes soon after Mariah gave a glimpse of herself recording the breakup ballad on Sunday's season finale of her reality show and quickly kissed Bryan Tanaka.

The hit-maker emotionally sang I Don't after discussing her relationship with the Australian billionaire on the latest episode of Mariah's World.

'Ever since the tour wrapped I took some time just to process my feelings and I started writing a song to express what I've been going through,' she said.

'And if you're not getting the love that you need from someone that you're supposed to be in a real relationship with, then why remain in that situation?,' she added.

The singer poured her heart into the breakup ballad that included the lyrics: ''Cause when you love someone, you just don't treat them bad, you messed up all we had. Probably think I'm coming back, but I don't, I don't.'

She then ceremoniously removed her engagement ring and left it in the booth.

Mariah's manager Stella Bulochnikov brought it to her later.

Moving on: The hit-maker quickly moved on to her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka

'I can't go though with this, I can't do it,' Mariah said of her pending wedding.

'He put you though hell, unapologetically,' Stella said sympathetically.

Mariah wasted no time jumping into a new romance with her young backing dancer Bryan Tanaka.

Hawaiian getaway: Maria and Tanaka jetted to Hawaii and smooched in the ocean

She promptly jetted to Hawaii with Tanaka to smooch in the warm ocean.

'I'm not going to have a woe is me festival,' decided Mariah, as she played with her twins, Roc and Roe, on her private plane.

'It's hard for me to express how I feel…my situation now is a deep, difficult situation,' added Mariah, who is 13 years older than 33-year-old Tanaka.

Never forget: Tanaka told Mariah that he would never forget the beautiful moments

Adding: 'It definitely feels like a weight has been lifted'.

Tanaka admitted holding a torch for his boss for years – so he was thrilled by the breakup.

'This is like a whole new start…there's no doubt I'm going to go after her with my whole heart because she's the girl of my dreams, it just feels right,' he said.

New start: The backing dancer was resolved to pursue Mariah

They later frolicked in the ocean and passionately kissed.

'This whole experience is magical to me, there's something really special going on,' he beamed.

'This is one of the most beautiful moments…that I will never forget,' he told her.

Picturesque setting: Mariah and Tanaka smooched as the sun was setting in Hawaii

'I admire this woman, I admire her, and I feel like this is the key to love,' he cooed.

'I'm really happy, I'm not sure if anyone else can understand that, but it is what it is,' smiled Mariah.

The show opened in Cape Town, South Africa with a visit to a butterfly farm and zoo.

'It's sort of like a family,' Mariah said of her touring team.

The singer then decided to promote Tanaka to co-creative director.

'That's a huge freaking deal,' he said.

New position: Mariah promoted Tanaka to co-creative director

Anthony Burrell, the current creative director, felt 'blindsided' by the move.

'I could walk…it is kind of a slap in the face,' he complained.

'I'm not happy about this,' he grumbled, before deciding to keep his mouth shut and 'conform'.

Not happy: Anthony Burrell balked at the new co-creative director position but ultimately accepted it

Mariah then made a rare appearance in the daylight to take her kids on safari for their 5th birthday.

'I don't own flats,' she grumbled as she tottered onto the bus in five inch stilettos.

'Early is not my friend,' she remarked.

They played their last show in Johannesburg.

Last show: Mariah wrapped up her tour in Johannesburg

'I can honestly say that this is the best time I've had on tour,' she announced.

Back at home Mariah and the kids met with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon, for some trampolining.

'Me and their dad, we have a very cool and special relationship. We just have each other's back regardless, I think that's amazing and I love it,' said Mariah.

Family first: Nick Cannon was shown with ex-wife Mariah and their children

Mariah and Nick's family laughed at Nick's turban.

Back at Mariah's mansion she worked with her manager Stella on the plans for her doomed wedding to Packer.

'The prenup is taking forever…is the universe trying to tell us something?' asked Stella.

Tanaka then dropped by for a chat and some red wine.

Mariah lay on the work surface in a corset for the discussion.

'It's perfectly normal to lie on a counter,' she breathed.

Perfectly normal: Mariah said it was normal to recline on a counter

They then headed to a party for the bat mitzvah of Stella's 12-year-old daughter Miksha.

'I'm eternally 12, but she's actually 12,' said Mariah.

Mariah took a walk with Tanaka to talk about her issues, but they ended up doing romantic 'lifts' in the garden.

Time to celebrate: Mishka was thrown a bat mitzvah that her friend Mariah attended

He tenderly smoothed down her hair which made her feel 'insecure' and she bolted to fix it but Tanaka reeled her back.

'Everybody's always judging how I look and stuff,' she said.

'Not me, I think you look beautiful,' he told her.

Dance practice: Tanaka and Mariah practiced some dance moves

'Are you really going to marry this guy?' he asked earnestly.

'I don't even know what I think anymore,' she told him.

'I just want you to be happy,' he told her.

'I don't want it to be weird between us,' she said, as he tenderly kissed her hand.

Adding: 'You make me smile'.

Big smile: Mariah admitted that Tanaka makes her smile
