He lost the Best Supporting Actor gong to Mahershala Ali at the SAG Awards.

Having spent the evening prior celebrating his nomination, the 56-year-old actor looked remarkably fresh faced on the outing.

Flying high: Hugh Grant didn't seem to be letting the SAG snub get the better of him as he jetted out of Los Angeles airport on Monday with partner Anna Eberstein

Looking as suave as ever, Hugh donned a crisp white shirt beneath a black suit, and wore a pair of thick rimmed spectacles.

Anna, 34, looked effortlessly chic for the flight, teaming a black military style blazer with skinny jeans and ankle boots.

She wore her chestnut locks loose and tousled, finishing off the look with a pair of oversized shades.

The couple were preparing to jet home after Hugh's disappointing loss at the SAG Awards on Monday.

The star was up for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the Meryl Streep movie Florence Foster Jenkins.

He faced competition from Jeff Bridges, Lucas Hedges and Dev Patel, ultimately losing out to Mahershala Ali for his role in Moonlight.

But whilst Hugh may not have walked away with an award on the evening, he and Anna ensured they had people talking about their ensembles.

Hugh kept things traditional with a smart tuxedo, whilst Anna complimented her man's attire in a conservative black velvet mini dress, with a high neck and long sleeves.

The outfit was far from plain, however.

Off they go: The pair seemed in good spirits as they made their way through the terminal

Cute couple: The duo made for a handsome couple as they headed home on the evening

Adorned on the front were two panels featuring metallic diamond formations, and Anna carried a small gold clutch to match.

The short hemline allowed Anna's lengthy pins to be shown off, and she completed the look with black strap heels.

She wore her bruntte locks in a loose ponytail, which was playfully resting on her shoulder, and a pair of gold drop-down earrings accesorised the look.

The British reigned supreme with SAG nominations.

The annual show is often seen as the best predictor for the Oscars, with most categories falling right in step with the Academy Awards.

A host of UK talent were nominated for top prizes - including Hugh for his supporting turn in the Meryl Streep movie Florence Foster Jenkins.

Based on a true tale, the film stars Meryl as the title role, a New York heiress who becomes an opera singer known for her painful lack of singing skill.

Hugh plays her husband and manager, an English Shakespearean actor named St Clair Bayfield.
