Aside from showcasing her model chops in the latest issue, Gigi opens up about her romance with singer Zayn Malik and gives some insight into their connection.

Under the watchful eye of many admirers, the supermodel opened up about her relationship with the former One Direction star, who she has been dating since November 2015.

She told the publication: 'When I’m in LA I mostly stay in because it's my time off and I like being with my boyfriend and doing art and cooking. 

'We like late-night movies and we order from this amazing place that does lattes and gingerbread cookies. I need coffee to stay up. 

'I'm always like, "Babe, let's go to a movie." Then I fall asleep halfway through and he's like, "You've seen the first half of every movie out there and you have no idea how any of them end."'

In 2015, she also came under fire for her appearance in Tommy Hilfiger's runway show and took to her Instagram to hit back at social media haters in an online rant as she defended her body type following some negative posts.

Speaking about her open-letter, she revealed that she was overwhelmed by the support she received by her peers.

She said: 'The response was crazy. From Victoria's Secret Angels to my friends who are considered plus size, everyone texted me and said they appreciated me saying something. 

'The world puts so much pressure on fashion, then judges models for succumbing to that pressure.'
