'We miss you and love you to the moon and back': Marla Maples shares photo of her and her daughter Tiffany Trump having brunch in Central Park in honor of her late mother's 76th birthday

Tiffany Trump and her mother Marla Maples honored her late grandmother over the weekend by having brunch at her favorite place in New York City.

The 23-year-old University of Pennsylvania graduate joined her mom at the Loeb Boathouse at Central Park Sunday, on what would have been her maternal grandmother Ann Locklear Maples' 76th birthday. 

Marla, 53, took to Instagram to share a photo of and her daughter sitting at their table overlooking the lake, explaining that earlier in the day she and Tiffany went to church to pay tribute to her mother.

'Mom's greatest Joy was sharing her time & love of God with her girls & to top it off we had brunch at one of her Fav spots in #nyc The Boathouse - May your Light & Love continue to shine through us momma.

'We miss you and love you to the moon and back again & again & again,' she continued. 'Zoom in to see Mom's photo at age 18, Homecoming Queen of course [sic].'

In the heartwarming photo, Tiffany is holding a picture of her teenage grandmother in her homecoming dress, as she and her mom smile for the camera.

Tiffany looks elegant in a form-fitting long-sleeve zipper dress, while Marla donned a button-down sweater with fur trim. 

The mother-daughter duo both have their matching blond hair down around their shoulders.

Marla's mother Ann passed away on March 6, 2014 in California at the age of 74, and it is clear that she is still very much adored by her daughter and granddaughter.

During their brunch, the First Daughter and her mom were also happy to take a photo with their fans. 

An Instagram user who goes by @vittoriald shared a snapshot of her and her family posed with Tiffany and Marla at their table, and she noted that the two were both very kind to them.

'I feel so blessed to have met @itsmarlamaples and First Daughter, @tiffanytrump today in NYC!' she wrote. 'Thank you for being so sweet and gracious when we interrupted your brunch.'

On Friday, Marla may have been feeling nostalgic as she shared a throwback photo of herself with Tiffany and her older half-sister Ivanka, months after the 35-year-old admitted that she wasn't close to her former stepmother. 

The family photo shows Marla, Ivanka and Tiffany in Telluride, Colorado, posing in their ski outfits and smiling at the camera. 

'#FBF Appreciating moments w/these two special girls #sisterlove - Telluride CO #mommaanddaughter [sic],' she captioned the image. 

Ivanka raved about Tiffany in an interview in July, saying the two had always been very close and that she loved her younger sister - but did not say the same about her stepmother.

When People magazine asked Ivanka if she and Marla were close, she replied: 'I'm not. She was out in California and really my relationship is with Tiffany.'

Marla married Donald Trump in 1993, the year after the mogul's 15-year marriage to Ivana Trump, Ivanka's mother, ended.

Tiffany's doting mom traveled to Washington, D.C. to support her during her father Donald's inauguration, and last week Tiffany posted a patriotic photo of herself posed with her half-brother Eric at the White House.

Donald's youngest daughter modeled a dark coat, pants, and light blue scarf, which she paired with $725 Stars and Stripes shoes by the Florence-based brand Aquazzura.
