It’s that time of year again when beauty pageant enthusiasts get very excited. The #65thMissUniverse coronation event took place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines last night. Hosted by none other than Steve Harvey (@IAmSteveHarvey), people from all over the world had their eyes on Twitter to see what happened with #MissUniverse.


From the contestants’ beautiful gowns to the unique national costumes; fans all over the world turned to Twitter to spark up the conversation. There were more than 34 million-related Tweets sent out during the live coronation event - one of the highest Tweet volumes generated during a live event.
