Cloud Locations
Google Cloud Platform's locations provide low latency, low cost, and high availability
Try It FreeNew Cloud Regions
We’re happy to announce our newest Cloud Region: Tokyo, Japan. With the launch of Oregon and Japan in 2016, that brings the total number of cloud regions to six. Details on all of the locations and GCP services are provided below.
Throughout 2017 we will continue this expansion, adding 8 new regions: Sydney (Australia), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Frankfurt (Germany), Mumbai (India), Singapore, London (UK), Hamina (Finland) and Northern Virginia (United States). We will announce additional regions throughout 2017.
Speed Matters
Speed matters. Choose zones and regions closest to your customers to reduce latency. Your customers will thank you. No matter where you deploy, your apps benefit from Google's global network footprint for fast and responsive service.
High Availability
Distribute your apps and storage across multiple zones to protect yourself against service disruptions. Leverage zones in different regions for additional redundancy.
Flexible Deployment
Deploy Cloud Platform services by zone, within or across regions. We offer Compute Engine in six regions containing a total of 18 zones, for example.
Points of Presence & Networking
We use Google's global network footprint to allow customers to connect their network to ours at over 70 points of presence across 33 countries, ensuring the same low latency and responsiveness customers expect from Google's own services. Please review our PeeringDB entry for an up to date list of Google's public and private peering locations.
