To inject a bit of mid-cycle interest into the Range Rover Evoque, Land Rover will be adding new infotainment technology to its style-focussed luxury compact SUV, as well as introducing a high-specification limited edition model.

Following a facelift late last year, which rationalised the model range and tweaked the front and rear styling, the introduction of Jaguar Land Rover’s 10.2-inch InControl Touch Pro brings the Evoque up to date with other models in the range.

Comprising a super-wide 21:9 format screen, InControl Touch Pro offer touch, swipe, and zoom functions, just like a regular tablet screen, with a customisable home screen to allow users to display their most used apps.

First introduced to the Evoque range on the Evoque Convertible, the InControl Touch Pro system can also be found as an option on the Jaguar XF range.

Ember Limited Edition

Arriving in the fourth quarter of 2016, the Range Rover Evoque Ember Limited Edition adds a range of interior and exterior enhancements to the already highly specced Td4 180 HSE Dynamic five door.

On the outside, Santorini Black paint is paired with a Firenze Red roof and front and rear bumper highlights as well as black Range Rover lettering on the bonnet and a unique black Evoque badge on the tailgate, with a chrome surround.

Black also adorns the satin-finish 20-inch alloy wheels, grille, and exhaust finishers, while the headlights and taillights have also been darkened, with the Ember Edition arriving with adaptive LED headlights.

On the inside, the Ember Edition wears Ebony Black sports seats, and includes an extended leather pack, which adds Oxford leather to the dash facia, all contrasted with Pimento Red stitching and finished with gloss black trim finishes.

The order books for the Ember will be opened from June until August, priced from $93,499 plus on roads, some $15,734 more than the standard Evoque Td4 180 HSE Dynamic.
