The Arsenal squad headed out to enjoy an evening meal together this week, following their last gasp heroics against Burnley... but one prominent first team player was missing.
The Gunners set out as a huge group to dine out ahead of their upcoming FA Cup fourth round clash with Southampton on Saturday, with almost every single member of the first team present.
One notable exception however was German playmaker Mesut Ozil, who was nowhere to be seen in a 24-man photo which some of the stars later took to social media to share.

The reason for Ozil's absence is unknown, though Swedish publication aftonbladet reported on Tuesday that the German player of the year was seen out shopping in a Gotheburg mall.
The 28-year-old has perhaps been granted a short break by boss Arsene Wenger in order to return fresh for the Gunners' assault on the Premier League title.
Winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain took to Twitter to post a snap of the large party of Gunners, along with the caption 'Dinner with the boys.'
Fellow attacker Theo Walcott soon followed suit and uploaded the same image, while the Premier League's current 'bad boy' Granit Xhaka also took to Instagram to post an image of the evening.

Recently red-carded midfielder Xhaka also took to Instagram to post a snap of the evening as the players enjoyed steak
Xhaka, who was recently sent-off for the ninth time in three years after a two-footed challenge on Burnley's Steven Defour, shared a snap and wrote: 'Nice dinner with the crew.'
In total 24 of the Gunners' squad turned out for the evening, with a few surprise attendees.
Arsenal's forgotten man Yaya Sanogo was among those present, despite having not been seen on the pitch alongside his Gunners team-mates since December 2014.
Defender Carl Jenkinson got in on the act also, in an evening which could potentially turn out to be something of a farewell with talks with Crystal Palace still ongoing.
Gunners fans will be pleased to see star man Alexis Sanchez present, with the Chilean's future still up in the air with contract talks yet to be resolved.
German star Mesut Ozil was a notable absentee as the Gunners squad dined out together
Sanchez, who signed for Arsenal from Spanish giants Barcelona in July 2014, has recently admitted his fondness of London, telling the club's official website how he enjoys dining out and exploring the city during time off.
'I used to go to London to eat something or have a drink with my friends,' Sanchez told Arsenal.com.
'I do explore the city if I have the time for it but normally I’d rather stay relaxed at home,' he added.
