Štip
Štip (Macedonian: Штип [ʃtip]) is the largest urban agglomeration in the eastern part of the Republic of Macedonia, serving as the economic, industrial, entertainment and educational focal point for the surrounding municipalities. As of the 2002 census, the Štip municipality alone had a population of about 47,796. Štip is the largest textile production center in the country; Center of the fashion industry in Macedonia, as well as the location of the sole public university in eastern Macedonia, Goce Delčev University of Štip. The city of Štip is the seat of Štip Municipality.
Geography and climate
The city is located at the intersection of the Lakavica, Ovče Pole, and Kočani valleys. Two rivers pass through Štip, the Bregalnica which is the second largest in the Republic of Macedonia, and the Otinja which divides the city center. The hill Isar, with its early medieval fortress on top, dominates the city and provides for the common reference as "The city under the Isar'. The area surrounding the city is suffering from deforestation which is contributing to the temperature extremes, summers being hot and dry with mean temperatures around 32 °C (90 °F) and days above 40 °C (104 °F) being common. Winters are short (less than 2 months usually) and mild (though considered cold for the area) with normals around −2 °C (28 °F), but with occasional drops down to −10 °C (14 °F). Spring usually comes in February, when most of the foliage is regenerating, although freak snow storms could appear as late as May.

Spoil tip
A spoil tip (also called a spoil bank, boney pile, gob pile, bing, batch, boney dump or pit heap) is a pile built of accumulated spoil - the overburden or other waste rock removed during coal and ore mining. These waste materials are typically composed of shale, as well as smaller quantities of carboniferous sandstone and various other residues. Spoil tips are not formed of slag, but in some areas they are referred to as slag heaps.
The term "spoil" is also used to refer to material removed when digging a foundation, tunnel, or other large excavation. Such material may be ordinary soil and rocks, or may be heavily contaminated with chemical waste, determining how it may be disposed of. Clean spoil may be used for land reclamation.
Spoil is distinct from tailings, which is the processed material that remains after the valuable components have been extracted from ore.
Physical description
Spoil tips may be conical in shape, and can appear as conspicuous features of the landscape, or they may be much flatter and eroded, especially if vegetation has established itself. In Loos-en-Gohelle, in the former mining area of Pas-de-Calais, France, are a series of five, very perfect cones, of which two reach 180 metres (590 ft), surpassing the highest peak in Flanders, Mont Cassel.

He learned to play the guitar and ukulele and started performing as "Larry Love" in the early 1950s. He often sang at a cabaret in Greenwich Village called Page 3. Despite his parents' disapproval, Tiny Tim kept singing the old songs he loved at small clubs, parties, and talent shows under different names. Sadly, Tiny Tim passed away on November 30, 1996.

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the number of tips provided at full-service restaurants grew by 17% from the fourth quarter of 2021. Meanwhile the tip frequency at quick-service restaurants rose 16% during the same time period. Experts say that's because of the newer and sleeker-looking Point-of-Sale, or POS, systems by tech companies like Square, Toast and Clover, who also have increased their sales as a result. The pressure to tip well in front of the tip receiver, before a service is completed, or in front of other customers makes a difference for many. After customers swipe their credit card, they're typically prompted with three large tipping options on a screen. While businesses can opt out of the tipping feature, most aren't. In fact, even Starbucks started prompting customers for tips in stores in September 2022. With Americans being pressured to tip higher percentages and for more services, the question is, where is the tipping point?

My amateur attempt at artistic audio-visual expression of how I experience my hometown, the city where I grew up and the city where I spend most of my life ...
At first I planned to make the video with a length of about 2 to 3 minutes, so that it would not be boring, but when I started recording and editing it, I kept saying to myself, let me insert this, and this ... In the end, the duration reached more than 12 minutes :-)
I hope it is interesting and not too long to watch. If nothing else, the video will be a recorded testimony of the state of the city in September 2021 :-)

In 1968, Tiny Tim, known for his high-pitched singing, released a popular song called "Tip Toe through the Tulips." With just his ukulele, Tiny Tim sang this tune, and it became a hit. He even appeared on famous TV shows like Rowan and Martin’s Laugh In and the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. The song itself, written by Al Dubin and Joe Burke way back in 1929, was a big success then too, staying at number one on the charts for ten weeks. It's about wanting to meet someone in a tulip garden for a romantic kiss under the moonlight. Although it's not clear if the songwriters or Tiny Tim knew the meaning behind the tulip, in Victorian times and in funerals, tulips were seen as a symbol of love and passion. Unlike roses, tulips don't have thorns, and even after they're cut, they still keep growing, which is why they're often linked with everlasting life.

Tiny Tim, the singer known for playing the ukulele and signing old songs from the 1920s, was born as Herbert Khaury on April 12, 1932, in New York City. His father was Lebanese, and his mother was Jewish. He gew up in the Washington Heights area of Manhattan. Even though he dropped out of high school, Tiny Tim loved old music from the late 1800s to the 1930s. and wanted to be a singer. He learned to play the guitar and ukulele and started performing as "Larry Love" in the early 1950s. He often sang at a cabaret in Greenwich Village called Page 3. Despite his parents' disapproval, Tiny Tim kept singing the old songs he loved at small clubs, parties, and talent shows under different names. Sadly, Tiny Tim passed away on November 30, 1996.

Tipping in the United States is on the rise and experts are calling it tipflation. In the fourth quarter of 2022, the number of tips provided at full-service restaurants grew by 17% from the fourth quarter of 2021. Meanwhile the tip frequency at quick-service restaurants rose 16% during the same time period. Experts say that's because of the newer and sleeker-looking Point-of-Sale, or POS, systems by tech companies like Square, Toast and Clover, who also have increased their sales as a result. The pressure to tip well in front of the tip receiver, before a service is completed, or in front of other customers makes a difference for many. After customers swipe their credit card, they're typically prompted with three large tipping options on a screen. While businesses can opt out of the tipping feature, most aren't. In fact, even Starbucks started prompting customers for tips in stores in September 2022. With Americans being pressured to tip higher percentages and for more services, the question is, where is the tipping point?

Our whole city with all its settlements, buildings, schools, faculties, churches and other religious buildings, parks, hospitals, sports fields, stadiums, theater, library and other cultural institutions, museums, courts, bridges, shopping malls and other sights, on a one place from a different, unprecedented perspective.
Video inserts recorded by a drone, interwoven with love and carefully packed with a special music background lasting 740 seconds or 12:20 minutes with the best of our city.
My amateur attempt at artistic audio-visual expression of how I experience my hometown, the city where I grew up and the city where I spend most of my life ...
At first I planned to make the video with a length of about 2 to 3 minutes, so that it would not be boring, but when I started recording and editing it, I kept saying to myself, let me insert this, and this ... In the end, the duration reached more than 12 minutes :-)
I hope it is interesting and not too long to watch. If nothing else, the video will be a recorded testimony of the state of the city in September 2021 :-)

Видео инсерти снимени од дрон, проткаени со љубов и внимателно спакувани со специјална музичка позадина во траење од 740 секунди или 12:20 минути со надоброто од нашиот град.
Мој аматерски обид за уметнички аудио-визуелен израз за тоа како го доживувам мојот град во кој сум роден, градот во кој сум израснал и градот во кој го минувам голем дел од животот...
Најнапред планирав да го направам видеото со должина од околу 2 до 3 минути, за да не биде досадно, ама кога почнав да го снимам и монтирам, постојано си велев ајде уште ова да го вметнам, па уште ова... На крајот времетраењето достигна повеќе од 12 минути :-)
Се надевам дека е интересно и не е предолго за гледање. Ако ништо друго, видеото ќе претставува снимено сведоштво за состојбата на градот во септември 2021 година :-)
