The Craw / Deathgrenade-Primitive thrash split 7" (2010,Live Fast,Die Drunk/Nuclfear)

This split was kindly offered by the Shane of Live Fast Die Drunk Records (myshit, site, blog), a Perth, West Australia based label and consists of two local bands, The Craw and Deathgrenade. I know absolutely nothing about them and the only information is from Live Fast... blog posts: The Craw have released so far Figure 241. Single Abdominal Wound in 2008, the 2009 demo and a four way split cd with Projekbabi, KrassKepala and Deathgrenade. The discography of Deathgrenade includes the two aforementioned releases. The split was released by Live Fast Die Drunk and Nuclfear Records in 500 copies of different cover colors (blue, yellow etc), 400 on limited black vinyl, the rest on pink. Music wise both bands bring primitive and noisy hardcore with some d-beat and crust elements, three tracks of noisy and raw hardcore by The Craw (plus an extra song from the four way split cd as bonus by Shane) and seven fast chaotic and thrashing blasts by Deathgrenade, all good enough to cares your ears. Some copies are still available from Live Fast Die Drunk here(price is in AU$) and also from other labels (here, here, there and there and probalby elsewhere, don't be lazy and search it.
There is nothing else to say, lets keep it short this time.

Death Sentence-Ryan.. thanks for the support

Death Sentence formed in Australia in mid 80's and were active until late 80's(or early 90's?). Their discography as far as i know (and Kill From The Heart has no infos about them) is "Ryan.."ep, "If pain mends my mind" (12" mini LP on Funnel Web Records,1986), "51st state of America"(1986,unreleased lp) and probably some demo tapes. They also appeared in "Not so lucky continent" 2xLP comp (Reactor,1988). For sometime DS had a Condemned To Death former member in their ranks
"Until the end of the sentence (1985-89)" is a 50 minute discography cd on Burrito Records including 35 songs and a 24 page booklet with their history. I found a copy in my local distro but i didn't buy it since i don't buy cd's(shame on me and it serves me right because these guys are really great)

"Ryan..Thanks for the support" ep came out in 1985 on band's own label Single Bullet Theory Enterprises Records, it is also known as "Ryan" ep. Only 500 copies came out in poster sleeve with photos and thank list, photocopied flyers included and an insert with lyrics as well. Despite the limited number of copies there were some different versions of cover and vinyl label. There is also a bootleg version of "Ryan" from Germany.
Music wise DS deliver seven tracks for approximately seven minutes total running time. Their thrashcore was in the vein of Ripcord, Heresy and Siege, the production is descent, some tracks are less than a minute long and each track (the title) is announced by the singer in the beginning, bringing the atmosphere of a live performance.
Tracks:
01:Death sentence
02:Air that we breathe
03:Moral majority
04:Benevolent intervention
05:Balance of a nation
06:Case to exist
07:Christian fanatics

Spazz/Rupture-split 7"

This is the worst cover artwork on this blog. Isn't it? Definitely yes and if not then Rupture is the most nerdy band posted here but at least the artwork is not as shit as Elektra Complex cover and their later "fuck off" attitude. Aussie freaks Rupture started back in late '80's ans they have a large catalog of releases under their belt, just check their myspace and discog site, we have met Spazz before in their split w Brutal Truth, there are some details there about the connection with other powerviolence acts, 625 Thrashcore and Slap A Ham Records.
This is a hard to find blasting record released back in 1994 by Sludge Records and both bands deliver raging stuff, full of speed, power and wrath. The recorded material gets the credits so there 's no space for complains about the cover artwork. 3 test pressings were made and only 500 copies were pressed. Enjoy it and leave the fear of red to horned beasts!!!

Tracklist:
Spazz side:
1. Hug yourself
2. You gotta mold it
3. Lethal
4. Anemonie
5. Gas pump
Rupture side:
1. Fear of death
2. Get in messunit
3. Killing on the brain
4. Wankerology

Vicious Circle-Search for the solution 7"

Vicious Circle were a hardcore band from Melbourne, Australia, They were formed in mid 80's and became one of the leader bands of Reactor Records. Circle of the Doomed demo tape was their first recorded material and was followed by 'Search for the solution' ep.
Search for the solution 7" was released in 1985, this a great debut ep, strong influenced by 80's UK hardcore, First pressing 1000 copies,second:1000 and third:500 copies. Here they deliver powerful fast hardcore and sometimes they bring in mind Abrasive Wheels from the When the punks go marching in era (Claws of death sounds like Abrasive Wheels track)
Search for the solution was followed by 'Price of progress' lp and split lp's with the Aussie punx Perdition and Youth Brigade from the States. A few more releases (incl. 'A nightmare so quick' 7" in 1986) saw the light of day and around '90 the band called it quit. They formed back in 1995 and released a few more records.
Most of their releases in the early days were released by Reactor. A detailed biography can be found in Kill From The Heart
artwork was found here
Tracklist:
1. Vicious circle
2. Personality crisis
3. Trapped
4. Claws of death
5. Corporate death scheme
