But tensions came to a head during Sunday night's explosive task as Jedward branded Nicola McLean a 'bully' on Celebrity Big Brother.
The Irish twins, 25, took to the stand as part of the Judgement Week task, which saw the housemates go on trial and forced to defend themselves against a barrage of questions and accusations from former housemates.

Ouch: Tensions came to a head during Sunday night's explosive task as Jedward branded Nicola McLean a 'bully' on Celebrity Big Brother
Jedward didn't hold back with their words, as they claimed: 'Everyone is under Nicola’s spell.
'It’s like a fairytale and she’s the Blair Witch, she’s a bully.'
Whilst Nicola watched on stony face, as the judge for the task, Vanessa Feltz, leapt to her defence, telling the boys off for throwing the word bully around.
Hard to hear: Jedward didn't hold back with their words, as they claimed: 'Everyone is under Nicola’s spell'
Soon it was Jedward's turn to feel the wrath of their housemates, however, as ex-housemate Austin Armacost returned after his shock eviction earlier this month.
He explained: 'You're childlike, you don't act 25, you act like you're 12, you're both a pair of p****s!'
As Jedward tried to defend themselves, reasoning ‘we stand on our own two feet, we don’t sit around and spread rumours like the clique do’, Jamie jumped in: 'Stop banging on about the clique!'

As tensions continued to rise, Calum Best added: ‘The problem with the lads is they have isolated themselves but we act like adults, they act like 12!’
But Jedward were insistent that they were in the right, claiming: 'No, they isolate us!
'They never include us in anything, everything they say we are is what they are themselves!'

As part of the latest Celebrity Big Brother task Judgement Weekend, season one housemate Vanessa Feltz has entered the compound and brought some other All Stars with her to assess the current celebs inside the house.
Gathered in Big Brother’s courtroom, the housemates assembled for a challenge titled Holding Court, where they were accused of not living up to expectations in the they promised when the season kicked off at the beginning of the month.
With Judge Vanessa Feltz presiding over matters, the witnesses included John McCririck, Saira Khan and Luisa Zissman with him - with recently evicted Austin thrown in for good measure.
Holding court! Luisa Zissman, John McCririck and Saira Khan have entered the CBB house for 'Judgement Weekend' as Luisa brands Nicola McLean 'nasty'... prompting her to ask to leave
Witness for the prosecution: Saira stands as a witness for James Cosmo and says she thinks of him as 'a very nice man' but that at times he appears 'totally disengaged with the process'
The witnesses were called to the stand to further question the housemate in the dock.
Saira stood as a witness for James Cosmo; and said she thought of him as 'a very nice man' but that at times he appears 'totally disengaged with the process'.
In turn, James said:'I may not have brought much but I’ve learnt a great deal' in his defense.
John McCririck remarked on how much Coleen Nolan smokes and eats.

'What a bell-end,' Jamie O'Hara remarked, to which Coleen added: 'He’s an absolute prick of the highest order.'
Judge Feltz asked if Nicola is an 'easy going' person as she’d previously stated, and her witness, Luisa, took to the stand to argue that she's not.
The fiesty former The Apprentice finalist said she was coming across as 'nasty and unkind' particularly towards Jedward.

This sent Nicola into a rage and she went to the Diary Room and demanded to leave declaring: 'I’m done!'
Nicola accused the twins of 'prodding at her all day' which is why she is snappy with them. She added sarcastically: 'They’re coming across as amazing, that’s great for them!'
Kim Woodburn told Jedward that she's proud of them for standing up to Nicola during the courtroom task who said how 'it was nice to be in that position and say what you wanted to say.'
Judgement day! Vanessa Feltz will enter the Celebrity Big Brother house this weekend... and is set to bring trouble with her for Bianca Gascoigne and Jamie O'Hara
Kim later headed into the Diary Room and claimed that Nicola is always 'slap bang' in the middle of arguments.
Judgement Weekend was initially teased on Friday evening's live double eviction, after Jessica Cunningham, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt exited the house.
Presenter Emma Willis teased that 'three relatives' are set to enter the house over the weekend, sparking rumours that one of the three people would be Bianca Gascoinge's boyfriend - whom she has been cheating on with Jamie inside the house.
In for a shock: And to make things even more tense, one of the three people is rumoured to be Bianca Gascoinge's boyfriend - whom she has been cheating on with Jame O'Hara inside the house
It's unclear whether Luisa, John and Saira's involvement counts as the 'three relatives' - possibly not given that they aren't 'related' to anyone inside the house.
With Judgement Weekend extending across Saturday and Sunday, it's likely the 'relatives' will appear later in the weekend.
Whoever enters, things will also end in a so-called back door eviction.
Those on the chopping block include Jedward, Nicola, Kim, Jamie and, for the first time, Calum Best.
Eviction virgin: For the first time this season, Calum Best will face eviction - and is under threat of leaving via the back door
