Karwan

Karwan is a major suburb in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is a part of the old city of Hyderabad.

It is 10 km from the IT hubs like Gachibowli, HITECH City, etc. It had major importance in the trade which happened in the reign of Qutb Shahis.

Culture

Karwan has a mixed population of both Hindus and Muslims. The festival of bonalu is very famous here and is celebrated in grandeur. The main goddess worshiped during bonalu is Darbar Maisamma temple and the thotella is the biggest in the twin cities. The celebrations start a week before and on the penultimate day the thotella is installed in front of Maisamma temple. On the last day many cultural programs take place, along with distribution of prizes to the meritorious students from UG to PG. The festival culminates with numerous palaharam carts which display various traditions and the removal of thotella along with procession. Karwan has very long history dating back to the Nizam rule it was a well known diamond pearls market, even till today there are old buildings and other old temples and masjids constructed during Nizam period. Andaroon or Inside karwan has few old buildings and was the place of the old pearl and diamond market existed. It is also famous for handloom clothes. Shree Vithalnathji Temple & shree Santhoshi matha temple along with Lord Narsimha swamy temple and Kesari Hanuman temple are very famous and old temples which are well known in the area.

The Voice of Poland is a Polish reality talent show that premiered on September 3, 2011 on the TVP 2 television network. The Voice of Poland is part of the international syndication The Voice based on the reality singing competition launched in the Netherlands as The Voice of Holland, created by Dutch television producer John de Mol.

Format

Producers' auditions and blind auditions

The Voice of Poland's first stage are the producer's auditions, which are not shown on television. The first televised stage are the blind auditions, where the contestants sing in front of the coaches. The coaches have their backs to the singer and if they like what they hear; they can press their button to turn around and recruit them to their team. If more than one coach turns the power shifts to the singer, who then decides which team they would like to be part of. Each coach must recruit 12 singers to their team in the blind auditions to progress onto the battle phase.

Kurdish music (Kurdish: موسیقای کوردی‎ Mûzîka Kurdî) refers to music performed in Kurdish language.

Traditionally, there are three types of Kurdish Classical performers - storytellers (Kurdish: چیرۆکبێژ‎, çîrokbêj), minstrels (Kurdish: سترانبێژ‎, stranbêj) and bards (Kurdish: ‎, dengbêj). There was no specific music related to the Kurdish princely courts, and instead, music performed in night gatherings (Kurdish: شه‌ڤبهێرک‎, şevbihêrk) is considered classical. Several musical forms are found in this genre. Many songs are epic in nature, such as the popular Lawiks which are heroic ballads recounting the tales of Kurdish heroes such as Saladin. Heyrans are love ballads usually expressing the melancholy of separation and unfulfilled love. Lawje is a form of religious music and Payizoks are songs performed specifically in autumn. Love songs, dance music, wedding and other celebratory songs (Kurdish: دیلۆک / نارینک‎, dîlok/narînk and bend), erotic poetry and work songs are also popular.

Mystery meat navigation (also known as MMN) is a disparaging term coined in 1998 by Vincent Flanders, author and designer of the website Web Pages That Suck, to describe a web page where the destination of the link is not visible until the user points their cursor at it. Such interfaces lack a user-centered design, emphasizing aesthetic appearance, white space, and the concealment of relevant information over basic practicality and functionality.

The epithet "mystery meat" refers to the meat products often served in American public school cafeterias whose forms have been so thoroughly reprocessed that their exact types can no longer be identified by their appearances: like them, the methods of MMN are clear to the producer but baffling to the consumer.

Flanders originally and temporarily described the phenomenon as Saturnic navigation in reference to the Saturn Corporation, whose company website epitomized this phenomenon. Flanders writes, "The typical form of MMN is represented by menus composed of unrevealing icons that are replaced with explicative text only when the mouse cursor hovers over them".
