Dig It may refer to:
World is a common name for the whole of human civilization, specifically human experience, history, or the human condition in general, worldwide, i.e. anywhere on Earth or pertaining to anywhere on Earth.
In a philosophical context it may refer to:
In a theological context, world usually refers to the material or the profane sphere, as opposed to the celestial, spiritual, transcendent or sacred. The "end of the world" refers to scenarios of the final end of human history, often in religious contexts.
World history is commonly understood as spanning the major geopolitical developments of about five millennia, from the first civilizations to the present.
World population is the sum of all human populations at any time; similarly, world economy is the sum of the economies of all societies (all countries), especially in the context of globalization. Terms like world championship, gross world product, world flags etc. also imply the sum or combination of all current-day sovereign states.

I've got my cassette tapes of backing tracks all ready. My theremin is all tuned up and the Moog rig is ready for some collaborative space. I'll be bringing some highly danceable afrofunk sounds to get the night moving. To all my asheville friends and family, get out there and come down to this free event.
The Detroit heat from Dave Hamilton continues!! Two super tough instrumental burners here. Neither of these mixes have been presented on wax before! "Ain't It A Groove" aka an alternate mix of "Cracklin Bread" as it was released originally on the Detroit TCB label. And "Can You Dig It?" aka an alternate mix of "Pisces Piece". These new mixes are available on 45s for the first time and are much cheaper than their $500 counterparts. www.coleminerecords.com

This is the real sh*t right here. Two cuts that have never been on a 45 before coming out of Detroit. Dave Hamilton’s production style defines Detroit deep soul. O.C. Tolbert’s version of “(Marriage Is Only) A State Of Mind” has never been released in ANY format before, so we are proud to present this lost treasure for the first time along with the killer instrumental version by Dave Hamilton on the B-side. Not to be missed! www.coleminerecords.com
http://acerecords.co.uk/dave-hamiltons-detroit-soul-vol-2 Soul tinged with blues, gospel, funk and jazz from the greatest little studios in the Motor City. The cottage industry that was Dave Hamilton’s studio has revealed more high quality tracks from their plentiful stash of tapes. This latest collection includes Little Ann’s funky ‘I Gotta Have You’, previously available only as a now-deleted Kent 45. Chico & Buddy’s 1970 TCB single ‘Party Time’ also gets its first CD release, while the flip of that record was Dave’s own in-demand instrumental ‘Cracklin’ Bread’, here with some previously unheard vocal overdubs taking it to a new level. Dave’s ‘When I Say Groove’ is another exciting discovery for hipsters and the big, growling voice of O.C. Tolbert gives us the new-to-Kent ‘The Love Ban...

Until recently if you looked up "Dave Hamilton" coupled with "The Deacons", you would have found a slick peace of funk that while enjoyable, nonetheless lacked a certain grit. That version seems to be gone from youtube as of this posting, but here is what I assume is an earlier demo version. This, in my opinion, is clearly the superior rendition of the tune, with a gritty, punchy quality that makes for a groovy, hypnotic listen. Update: That other version of The Deacons has found it's way back onto youtube. It can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ea8WP6AT8Sc Listen for yourself, compare, contrast, and make up your own mind!

Whether you want something that “just works” or want to dig in deep, Dave explains why features such as Quality of Service and Airtime Fairness are so important in a world where we seem to have abundant bandwidth, but often experience network slowdowns and degradation. March 28, 2016 by BOBBY CARTER Anthony Hamilton's soul sound was refined in the churches of Charlotte, N.C. Watching the Grammy winner perform, you get the hunch that it's harder for him to keep the soul inside than it is to actually unleash it. What he and his backup singers, The Hamiltones, do would be better classified as a musical purge, with a stage show that can double as couples therapy and church service. Their warm harmonies have the ability to shrink theaters and stadiums, so we knew this intimate setting was perfect for them. Following a spot at the final In Performance show of the Obama presidency, the singer, The Hamiltones and his band made their way over to our offices to give us a dose of what's to come, as well as a heavy helping of what fans have grown to love about hi...
