Four-year-old Willow doesn't just have one Halloween costume, but a costume for every day of the month leading up to the event.

For the past two years, mother and photographer Gina Lee has taken Halloween to the next level by creating simple, hilarious and adorable costumes that recreate memorable moments from pop culture and viral media events.

Speaking to Babble, Lee explains, "One costume just was not enough the first year. There were so many ideas I wanted to create, but Halloween is only one day. So I just started with a few the first year, then it gradually grew."

The tradition has gone as far as being declared, "Dress Up Willow Month", and we can't handle how cute these are.

This year, Lee took inspiration from highly publicised current events, like the man who scaled the Trump Tower, to James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" with Sia.

Costumes are also inspired by trending Netflix series, TV and movie classics, products like Burt's Bees and famous faces such as Iris Apfel and Frida Kahlo.

In an interview with Huffington Post, Lee said that with the exception of some wigs and props, most of the costumes are DIY; made by dyeing clothing, using random items around the house to fit a theme and a trusty glue gun.

The talented mum posts her Halloween projects to Instagram in the hope that it will inspire others to get creative.

Indiana Jones Willow

As for little Willow, she seems like a real natural in front of the camera. The fun is taken up a notch whenever she is joined by her best friend Cooper for a play date photo shoot.

But does Lee worry her daughter might get sick of playing dress ups?

"I hope she will keep doing dress up, but just as long as she is having fun," says Lee. "If she is not, then we will stop...but so far, she loves it, especially when she does it with her friends.

For now, we hope Lee doesn't run out of costume ideas because "Dress Up Willow Month" might just become an annual event for us too.
