Seats for General Admission tickets are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Gates open at 6.15pm each evening and the screening commences at approximately 8.30pm.
A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase each night at the Event Box Office from 6:15pm for the same night’s screening only. At midday on each screening day we’ll advise on our website, Facebook page and our information hotline (tel 1300 366 649) how many tickets will be available at the door that night. The Box Office is located at the entrance to the event at Mrs Macquaries Point. EFT facilities are available.

All general admission tickets to St.George OpenAir Cinema are for unreserved grandstand seating. Tickets are subject to terms and conditions available at the time of purchase and the event’s wet weather and cancellation policy.
On occasions we may make available further allocations of general admission tickets or special offers. If we do so, we will advise of this to subscribers by our enewsletter and/or social media.

This season, we have partnered with Matt Moran’s Events by Aria to bring you a mouth watering menu for our 2017 season.
Events by Aria are well known for delicious dishes using only the best produce. Having catered for many of Sydney’s most unique venues, Matt’s team will be onsite every night delivering a signature menu exclusively for OpenAir.
Offering stunning views over Sydney Harbour, and a great range of beer, cider, wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, come summertime, the Event’s Kirin Bar is the perfect place to catch up with friends.
We’re also delighted to welcome back to the event Segafredo Coffee and Pat & Stick’s Homemade Ice Cream.
St.George OpenAir Cinema is located at Fleet Steps, Mrs Macquaries Point which is adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden.
From the Art Gallery of NSW, proceed north along Art Gallery Road and Mrs Macquaries Road.

There are more than 200 metered parking spaces on Mrs Macquaries Road, each charged at the following rates:
8am to 8pm $7.00/hr
8pm to 8am $3.50/hr.
For the Summer Events Season, parking limits after 4pm have been extended until midnight (rather than the signed 4P or 6P).
Meters accept coins, Visa, Mastercard and mobile phone payments. Please be mindful not to leave valuables in your car if parked on the street.
Holders of Disability Parking Permits: Designated bays are provided near The Royal Botanic Garden Woolloomooloo Gate and outside the Art Gallery of NSW.
The car park closes at midnight on scheduled evenings of the St.George OpenAir Cinema.
