Lindsey Vonn has had a long road to recovery since the athlete's season-ending injury nearly a year ago. Luckily, the star has had the support of her boyfriend Kenan Smith along the way.
On Saturday, the athletic pair were spotted cozying up at the 32-year-old's skiing competition in the Italian Alps.
Vonn crashed out during the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup downhill race in the same spot where she had crashed a day before during an official training session.
The record setting skier has recently returned to the slopes after a training accident last February left the star with a severely broken arm and unable to ski for months.

Although the crash left her feeling a bit defeated, Lindsey looked happily in love as she hit the snow with her beau in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
Smith had to help out as a bodyguard when Vonn waded through the crowd as she exited the athletes' area and hundreds of fans sought her autograph.
She wore a red quilted jacket courtesy of the US ski team, while combining the look with starry ski pants and a black beanie from sponsor Red Bull before her Super-G race.
Keenan - who is the assistant wide receivers coach for the LA Rams - wore a blue Under Armor hoodie as he and his gold medalist girlfriend walked upon the snow hand-in-hand during his first ski race in Europe.
Tiger Woods, Vonn's former boyfriend, concealed his face behind a mask when he surprised the skier by showing up in Cortina unannounced two years ago. Smith was decidedly more low profile.
The Minnesota native first revealed on Instagram in November that she had 'an amazing boyfriend.'

Kiss in the snow: Lindsey and Kenan weren't bashful, as they shared a number of smooches at the Italian event
The pair were not shy about the public displays of affection during the tournament, spotted smooching and swapping fond looks throughout the World Cup races.
Sporting pairs of matching sunglasses, the couple looked cute as can be as they flashed their pearly whites for the camera following Lindsey's downhill race.
Keenan cheered from the sidelines during the Minnesota-born athlete's races. Unfortunately, it was a difficult day in the snow for the star, who ended up placing 12th overall.

High hopes: The skiing sensation was okay with placing 12th at the Alpine World Cup
Although Lindsey was disappointed to leave the event without a medal, the star was happy for the opportunity to ski again, saying:
'It definitely wasn't the weekend that I was hoping for but I think all things considered it's good that I'm still in one piece.'
The 32-year-old athlete is the one of the most winning female skiers in US history and has slid to victory in 77 World Cup races.
With a little help from my friends: Lindsey hit the slopes alongside fellow team USA skiers Mikaela Shiffrin and Julia Mancuso after the women's super-G race
Back to the races: The former World Cup champion had a rocky day during the competition, crashing into the safety netting at one point and eventually placing 12th overall
