'I don't sit at home and obsess': Jon Hamm says he doesn't watch old episodes of Mad Men because that's 'weird'
He became a household name after playing Don Draper in the TV series Mad Men.
But amost two years after the show has ended, Jon Hamm has revealed that he doesn't watch old episodes of the hit series.
While walking the carpet at the NHL 100 Gala in Los Angeles on Friday, the actor, 45, told US Weekly that watching himself on TV is 'always weird.'

The movie star played Don for seven seasons in Mad Men; the period show was set in the sixties.
Jon noted that social media and what people anonymously post about him or about the show is the main reason why he doesn't watch reruns of Mad Men.
Jon told Us Weekly that he doesn't need to watch himself and that he doesn't 'sit at home and obsess.'
The handsome star explained to the magazine: 'Because inevitably, you're gonna think something looks terrible. Or is terrible.'

Adding: 'And unfortunately, it's the internet that points those things out.'
Jon noted that usually the people writing bad things about him are almost always anonymous, which is why he tries 'to stay off the internet as it pertains to me.'
On Friday, Jon hosted the NHL 100 Gala at Microsoft Theater - to help kick off the NHL All-Star Weekend.

The TV star is a huge fan of the St Louis Blues hockey organization; Jon was born in St. Louis Missouri.
He also attends games at the STAPLES Center to see the Los Angeles Kings.
Jon also talked to Us Weekly about his new project, Marjorie Prime; he said that he's 'very proud of it.'
Marjorie Prime premiered last week at the Sundance Film Festival.
