UB40 are a British reggae/pop band formed in December 1978 in south Birmingham, England. The band has had more than 50 singles in the UK Singles Chart, and has also achieved considerable international success. They have been nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album four times, and in 1984 were nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Group. One of the world's best-selling music artists, UB40 have sold over 70 million records. The ethnic makeup of the band's original line-up was diverse, with musicians of English, Scottish, Irish, Yemeni and Jamaican parentage.
Their hit singles include their debut "Food for Thought" and two US Billboard Hot 100 number ones with "Red Red Wine" and "Can't Help Falling in Love". Both of these also topped the UK Singles Chart, as did the band's version of "I Got You Babe".
The band's lineup was stable for nearly 29 years, from March 1979 until January 2008, when frontman Ali Campbell left the band; followed shortly thereafter by keyboardist Mickey Virtue. Another member, Astro, remained with the band until November 2013; when he departed the original band to team up with Campbell and Virtue in a new version of UB40. In 2014, legal advice was sought by the original band (now consisting of remaining co-founding members drummer Jimmy Brown, guitarist Robin Campbell, bassist Earl Falconer, percussionist Norman Hassan, and saxophonist Brian Travers, along with new vocalist Duncan Campbell) against the group containing Campbell, Virtue, and Astro over usage of the band name, due to it being used by both parties.
Kingston Town (31 August 1976 - March 1991) was an outstanding Australian bred Thoroughbred racehorse who won a record three Cox Plates and 11 other Group One races in a career spanning from 1979 to 1982. In 1980 he was awarded the honour of being the Australian Champion Racehorse of the Year.
He was by Bletchingly, later a Leading sire in Australia, his dam, Ada Hunter (GER) was by Andrea Mantegna (FR). Ada Hunter was the dam of nine foals, but Private Thoughts (a brother to Kingston Town) was her only other stakes winner. She was later exported to the United States. Kingston Town was bred by David Hains, who sold a share in him to G. Monsborough and his wife after the horse failed to reach his reserve as a yearling.
He was trained throughout his career by Tommy Smith and ridden in 25 of his 30 wins by Malcolm Johnston. Kingston Town made his debut as a two-year-old, and, in his only start as a colt, ran last, but returned as a gelding in the final weeks of the season to win the Round Table Handicap at Rosehill at odds of 33/1. This was the beginning of a six-race winning run, which culminated in his first Group One win, the Spring Champion Stakes. Sent to Melbourne, the 'Sydney Champion', as he was dubbed, could only finish third, fourth, and second, respectively, in the Caulfield Guineas, the Caulfield Cup, and the Victoria Derby. The pattern of consistent success in Sydney and mixed fortunes in Melbourne would be repeated throughout his career: Kingston Town won 21 races from as many starts in Sydney between June 1979 and August 1982, interspersed with four trips to Melbourne, where he won five of his 13 starts.
Here I Am may refer to:
Red wine is a type of wine made from dark-coloured (black) grape varieties. The actual colour of the wine can range from intense violet, typical of young wines, through to brick red for mature wines and brown for older red wines. The juice from most purple grapes is greenish-white; the red colour comes from anthocyan pigments (also called anthocyanins) present in the skin of the grape; exceptions are the relatively uncommon teinturier varieties, which produce a red colored juice. Much of the red-wine production process therefore involves extraction of colour and flavour components from the grape skin.
The first step in red wine production, after picking, involves physical processing of the grapes. Hand-picked or machine-harvested grapes are usually tipped into a receival bin when they arrive at the winery and conveyed by a screw mechanism to the grape-processing equipment.
On arrival at the winery there is usually a mixture of individual berries, whole bunches (particularly with hand-picked grapes), stems, and leaves. The presence of stems during fermentation can lead to a bitter taste in the wine, and the purpose of destemming is to separate grapes from the stems and leaves. Mechanical de-stemmers usually consist of a rotating cage perforated with grape-sized holes. Within this cage is a concentric axle with arms radiating towards the inner surface of the cage. Grapes pass through the holes in the cage, while stems and leaves are expelled through the open end of the cage.
Can't Help is a song by the band Parachute.
Parachute announced their plans for a third full-length album in late 2012. "Hearts Go Crazy", originally intended as the lead single, was released on iTunes on February 26, 2013 featuring a new electronic direction to the band's sound. A second single, "Can't Help", written by Will Anderson and Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic (who originally intended for the song to be given to Cee Lo Green), was released on June 2, 2013. The band also performed "Can't Help" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. On June 13, 2013, the band announced that their third album would be called Overnight, and it was released on August 13, 2013. "Hearts Go Crazy", originally intended to be the lead single, was not included on the album and the band instead promoted "Can't Help", later releasing a music video in support of this radio single. The album, Overnight, continuously topped the iTunes album charts in the top ten during its first day and week of release, reaching the #3 spot, and has since garnered national and international recognition. "Overnight" also marked the band's highest chart position, reaching as high as fifteen on the US Billboard 200. In May 2014, Nate McFarland announced on the Parachute Facebook Page that he was leaving the band to study Business in University.

UB40 are one of the most successful British acts of all time, with a huge string of hits on both sides of the Atlantic and around the globe. In the UK only three groups (The Beatles, Queen & The Shadows) can claim more hit singles and they've also clocked up 14 Top 10 albums. To date, 2002 is the band's only appearance at the Montreux Festival but clearly inspired them to produce one of their finest performances. Like what you see? Share, comment, like and subscribe! This video was made because as a fan for years and years people need to understand there has only ever been one UB40 and they go strong as an amazing band. Ali Campbell left and is trying to use the name to sell tickets because he couldn't sell Ali Campbell! he has contradicted himself so many times and told stories which just obviously aren't true. I have never seen UB40 respond to Ali's stories and alligations despite all the negative and wild press he storms against the band and it doesn't seem right to me! This chronicles the break up as it was. It's very clear Ali left the band to go solo and this nonsense about two UB40's is absolutely absurd.

To all the entertainers in the world I man show nuff respect
Nuff respect, cause every entertainer is select
And right ya now me a go show you how to do the king step
(Chorus)
Me a go show you how to do the king step left right,
Me a go show you how to do the king step left right,
As soon as me operator puts the music on the deck
Is pure exciting, educating, fascinating, pirate chanting
Culture preaching, perfect timing lyrics you a go get
The whistlers blow their whistle, big women say "Kiss me neck"
Some bark "Forward", some barl "Rewind" and some shout out "eject"
While the pirates press record pon fe dem pocket size cassettes
The MCs that chat slack fret till dem armpit wet with sweat
Because they know that slackness is a thing I man do not respect
That's why me have to show dem how fe do the King Step Left Right.
(Chorus)
Well before me start to go down in a dais yak subject
Me have to praise you Jab cause you never fail I yet
Even when satan captured me and bring me close to death
You offered me the truth and right and I had to accept
But now me find you Jab me na go keep it secret
That's why the conscious lyrics are my favourite subject
Me chat dem in the blues party, pub, club and discotheque
Me chat dem in the bookie shop while man a put on bet
And also in the gambling house when man ready fe set
And even to bad man who a walk wid dem ratchet
Me chat dem a UB40 Studio in digbeth
And when dem want more culture dem a barl out "Dep, Dep, Dep"
But me tell them, hold on lads you ain't heard nothing yet
"Cause now I'm gonna show ya how to do the King Step" Left Right
(Chorus)
Left right its time to walk in the light of Jab not darkness
Left right who Jab bless no man curse, who jab curse no man bless
Left right eternal life for the man that tries his very best
Left right do bad and you'll go down in the pit that's bottomless
Left right Pato Banton has now come to preach the right
Left right left right me no partial if your black or if your white
Left right well now me know how fe do the king step
Me just can not keep it a secret
So right ya now you a get
THE KING STEP THE KING STEP THE KING STEP
Step 1, we all should know that there's one god and only one
Step 2, Is give him praises for this whole creation
Step 3, Is love your brother man cause you and him is one
Step 4, Is not to make the same mistake as Soloman
Step 5, Is to repent and beg forgiveness for your wrongs
Cause the wroth of Jab is clear to see in Revelation
So make up mind if you want to go to Heaven or Hell
Step 6, Oh yes there's more the King Step carries on
It carries on and on, and on, and on, and on, and on
Step 6, is once you know the truth to pass the message on
And do the King Step daily as you trod upon Jab land
So when the right time comes for Babylon's destruction
You'll be among the few to march towards mount Zion
Left-Right, Left-Right, Left-Right, Left-Right
