Description

ROTHERLEA LODGE is a contemporary retreat that offers its guests seclusion on a working farm. It is purpose built as a self contained accommodation.
The Lodge is a versatile guest house that can accommodate a couple for a mini-break , a family for a holiday rental, or a group of friends for a weekend retreat.

Rotherlea Lodge is 2 HOURS DRIVE FROM MELBOURNE straight up the Hume Hwy.

The spacious mezzanine queen bedroom has VIEWS over the paddocks,across the vineyard to Mt Buffalo.
Your fully equipped kitchen is set up for any kind of cooking/entertainment. There is a laundry, bathroom with spa bath and separate toilet.
EXTRA GUESTS can be accommodated - there are two more large bedrooms with own share bathroom at the main house.....PLEASE ENQUIRE.
BIG Breakfast ingredients are supplied plus coffee machine. BADDAGINNIE RUN WINES may be purchased upon request.
Rotherlea Lodge is a double storey glass fronted retreat with verandas. In winter the OPEN FIRE makes for a great cosy spot to read and relax. All linen supplied.

WINTON MOTOR RACING has fabulous race days and exhibitions.
KING VALLEY WINERIES and restaurants are within half an hours drive....Glen Rohan and Gapsted are terrific for a day trip.
OR stay on the farm and walk around - you'll probably see us mustering or weighing cattle....

Rotherlea Homestead is about a kilometre down the road from the Lodge.We are farmers and have jersey and holstein cattle. The homestead has a tennis court and gardens that are there to be utilised. The property has wild deer in the forests, kangaroos, koalas and the occasional fox roaming around. Birdlife is abundant. You will find 100s of species of birds around the property. There are 3 dams and plenty of paddocks and hills to explore. Please ring or email us with any questions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely gorgeous It is the most luxurious dog friendly property I have stayed at in Victoria. Loved the full length windows. Great spa bath. Going to bed with the fire crackling, and light from the flames was a treat. Waking up to take in the bush views from the very comfortable bed. Great walks on the property. Very welcoming and friendly proprietors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavenly, both for the two-legged and four-legged! Absolutely loved waking up in the morning to an awe inspiring view of the sunrise over the lush green paddocks. With hundreds of acres of rolling hills and land Rotherlea intices you to take long walks and explore and be in joy at the local wildlife. Foxes, rabbits and koala's and kangaroos will all delight. In the evening a long soak in the gorgeous spa followed by nap by the fire soothes away those tired muscles. We and the four-legged one thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Rotherlea is an awsome place for the human and beloved canine companion alike. Our hosts were very accommodating and welcoming and we will most certainly recommend Rotherlea!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful hosts, fabulous stay. Thank you for such a warm welcome and wonderful stay. You really made us feel special - touches like a roaring fire on arrival, homemade cake to have with tea, the fabulous breakfast provisions, and booking us dinner at the local pub, all went towards a memorable weekend. The house was spotless and everything we could possibly have needed (and much more) was there for us.
