Location

Rated 4 out of 5 by from coziest little cottage in the woods It rained 2 out of the three days we stayed at Bundera but thanks to the big covered verandah with the view the rain didn't bother us one bit. Definitely want to cone back to this place. Great if you want that feeling of isolation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed Review Wonderful location, peaceful, serene space overlooking beautiful valley from fantastic deck area. Disappointing facilities. Kettle needs replacing, lights need globes, spa not operational, empty probably due to lack of rain, broken door handle, BBQ burners all rusted and broken. No egg flipper. Wildlife very friendly. Property needs a little maintenance and review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bundera Lodge Stay We loved waking up to the lovely views and having the fireplace going was that extra special. Slept like a log and also loved the added touch of the Artist's Easel upstairs. Would of been nice if the pencils were sharpened though.. Overall we had a pleasant and very relaxing experience. Highly recommended the lodge if you want that rustic, comfy feel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Getaway! This is a lovely fairly isolated property. Driving up is very scenic and you drive through beautiful countryside. The directions are easy to follow and it is easy to find. The road is tarred pretty much all the way except a minor spot at turn off. It is a very cute little cabin. It is lovely inside with a fantastic cozy fire with very comfy couches to lay back and listen to the fire crackle. The kitchen is well set up and offers a microwave for heating food, there is a BBQ outside for plate type cooking. This is a beautiful place to stay. The owners have everything set up to make it a very relaxing stay. The only downfall is due to its isolation there is no mobile reception for emergencies. There is no phone at the cabin for incoming calls. We had a family emergency and were unable to be contacted. If you go to the nearby resort there was enough reception for ( Vodafone) to receive a text but not enough for calls. Optus there was no reception for either. Although this is probably a rare event it is important to know you cannot be contacted. This is a beautiful spot and a wonderful place to get away from the rat race. The cabin has been decorated beautifully, the owners have supplied lots of DVD's and CD's. It is all very clean and well taken care of. From the main photo they have extended the deck which makes a great place to soak up the atmosphere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rustic hideaway We really enjoyed our time at Bundera. It was lovely sitting in the spa under a blanket of stars. Dinner each night was outside under the stars as well, as there is not a dining area inside. However plenty of room to sit around an open fire in the lounge area. We enjoy self catering but if you don't its a scary trip up or down the mountain to restaurants or cafes. The downside is the road up the mountain, I could never drive it myself. The driveway into Bundera is hairy when wet as well. The area surrounding the house is quite bushy and not conducive for walks, but it is a beautiful spot and we would definitely say we would be back! The owners have thought of everything for the kitchen and cook. Well done!!!
