This aptly named Valley View lodge boasts luxury at an affordable cost. It features a huge cathedral style ceiling in the lounge with a new five piece cream leather lounge suite complete with 4 recliners (one with comfort lifting), a slow combustion log burning fire which adds a homey glow for those cooler evenings and a large flat screen plasma TV with a USB ready DVD player and library of movies. Floor to ceiling windows provide unending views of the Hunter Valley and Barrington Tops and the complete lodge has ducted reverse cycle air conditioning/heating for your comfort.

This magnificent lodge was architect designed and built and includes a kangaroo/bird feeder with plenty of food supplied ensuring an abundance of wildlife to enjoy from 3 different decks including kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, parrots and eagles with incredible photo opportunities. The lodge also has two mountain bikes and fishing rods for the enthusiasts wanting to explore the many trails and lagoons on the 1000+ acres where our lodge is situated.

Valley View has its own dedicated games room complete with a full size billiard table for your enjoyment. A cupboard is filled with puzzles and games.

OTHER FEATURES:
Valley View has a fully equipped kitchen including an Expressi Coffee pod machine with coffee capsules provided. A milk frother and a tea box with a wide variety to choose from. A full size oven and stove top and a large fridge with freezer. Ample cooking equipment with microwave and we provide many condiments other places lack including salt and pepper grinders, condiments, olive and cooking oils and sauces. Two well equipped bathrooms and a full sized billiard table in its own dedicated games room; many board games in the cupboard.
The 2 main bedrooms have king beds, readily split into king singles, with their own large LCD TVs with built in DVD players with USB capabilities. The third bedroom has a double bed with a massage recliner with massage footstool - great for relaxing reading. The fourth bedroom has a double bed, a single bed and a fold out single lounge that makes into a full size single bed. This room also has its own Flatscreeen TV/DVD player.The king rooms have feather mattress toppers. All the beds are fitted with electric blankets and luxurious 1000 thread count linen and new doonas with comfy mink blankets. All guests receive king size towels, hand towels and washers with extra towels provided for spa use.
Candles sit throughout the house to add instant fragrance and incense sticks are also available.
Outside is a luxury huge heated SPA under it's own private enclosure. The spa has its own ice bucket built in. One deck has a gas BBQ complete with table and chairs for enjoying an Aussie BBQ. A small outdoor coal fired pizza oven is also on deck that cooks perfect 10 inch pizzas in 5-6 minutes. We can provide pizzas at request. There is also a laundry room under the house complete with washing machine and dryer. A double hammock hangs from its own frame on the third verandah.

Some will eat from your hands. we provide bins of kangaroo pellets and wild bird feed with specialised feeders. All linen is finest quality and king size beds have mattress toppers that make you feel like you are sinking into clouds.

Valley View is a spectacularly appointed lodge 30 feet from the mountains edge with uninterrupted views that will take your breath away. We have thought of everything you will need to ensure you can arrive and stay should you choose or we can arrange shuttle bus to pick you up for a day of winery tours. We can also arrange special breakfast provision deals and a masseuse who can come up to the lodge to pamper you and your guests.

BREAKFAST: For $45 we offer 2 cereal choices, 500 grams butter, 2 litres milk, 2 litres juice, large tub yogurt, loaf of bread, 1 dozen eggs from our farm and 1 kg bacon. For $55 we can add an additional kg bacon and another dozen eggs. On arrival all guests are greeted with champagne, cheese, biscuits and a hamper of our handmade Belgian chocolates and gourmet jams.

SPECIAL

Couples luxury romantic getaway. Two nights for $700 with a late checkout the third day up to 5pm and a welcome package of wine, cheese and crackers, a home made gift package of Belgian chocolates to indulge on, breakfast provisions, and a special king size bed with your own private 42cm LCD TV and DVD.

LOCATION INFORMATION

The property is 2.5 hours north of Sydney, coveniently located 12 km from Vacy and near the historic town of Paterson and Gresford wineries as well as about 45 minutes from the wineries at Pokolbin. Valley View is a privately owned and operated luxury lodge situated within the over 1000 acre Eagle Reach Wilderness Resort. Our Guests have free use of the resort's tennis court, walking trails, games room, day SPA, swimming pool, outdoor fitness centre, childrens playground, gas barbeques, fishing ponds, picnic areas, and 4WD tracks. Guests may dine in, visit the local restaurant (pre bookings essential for weekend dining and we can arrange this prior to your arrival) or the Flying Duck cafe in Vacy or other restaurants in Maitland. Many companies offer shuttle bus pick up and drop offs to your door if you want to spend a day in the Hunter Valley wine tasting. Visit the historic Maitland and Morpeth for a great day out.

PRICING AND OTHER INFORMATION

PRICES- We do not increase our prices for holidays except for the Easter weekend and the peak Christmas/new year weeks. Prices reduce for longer than 3 night stays.
So why not stay longer and take advantage of this historical and beautiful area and include day trips to the wine country and Barrington Tops.

Beautiful place and excellently set up. Stunning scenery, wildlife: possums, king parrots,magies, goannas,eagles and of course kanagroos. We all enjoyed the amenities especially tennis, table tennis, pool table and SPA. Very relaxing and entertaining. The Belgium chocolates were delicious and much appreciated.

Eagleview Resort is magical! The views over the vast Hunter Valley are stunning - breathtaking - and peaceful. THe house is fabulous - 4 bedrooms (sleeps 10) a great place to catch up with friends for a weekend - spacious living area, outdoor spa, tastefully furnished, BBQ and cosy wood fire. Oh and native wildlife abounds. Treat yourself!

The house was beautiful and equipped with everything you need. It was filled with so many surprises. THe spa was relaxing and the view day or night incredible The kangaroo feedings is definitely a plus as well as the cheeky kookaburra. We enjoyed the exceptional space and comfort the lodge had to offer.
Service was amazing and the owners were pleasant and prompt with contact for all our questions and concerns. Will definitely be coming back. Its the perfect place to clear your head, relax the body, spend time with those you care about most. Plenty to see and do within the resort to keep everyone entertained. We had an amazing time!!!

My friends and I had the most amazing experience at the resort over the weekend. I was beyond impressed at how wonderful the views and the service was, complete with everything that we needed to help us relax and by helping us create wonderful memories of our weekend away. The moment the sun rose up the next day, we were greeted by our new furry friends which we could not bear to leave when it was time for us to depart back into the busy world. I had an amazing time and did not want to leave, the experience was absolutely wonderful, your service and facilities provided to us was beyond our expectations and I cannot wait to return for the next holiday! I was really really glad that we found this lodge! as we were worried that we wouldn't find a big enough place to accommodate our group of 7. We were welcomed with a lovely letter and hamper of delicious local chocolates, honey and other goodies from the owners which we appreciated very much. I couldn't believe how spacious and stylish the house was it had everything we were looking for ie. jacuzzi, pool table, bbq, wildlife with a breathtaking view! much better than we expected. The friendly Kangaroos and Wallabies topped off our wonderful experience we enjoyed their company and even got a chance to take a few 'selfie' photos with them haha.
