Description
Welcome to our beautiful hideaway overlooking the Noosa Hinterlands Our traditional Queenslander-style homestead is located at the end of a quiet mountain-top lane, behind an attractive, secure gate- a private relaxed environment ready for you to enjoy.
Our guest accommodation is a private one bedroom studio apartment on the ground floor. The suite contains a cozy queen-sized bed, a large entertaining area with wrap around sofa can fit one extra person on end L shape-cosy an adjoining kitchenette with fridge, kettle, electric hotplate and microwave please note. No stove or oven in your room, private bathroom with shower, built in wardrobes, front timber deck, and a private backyard with BBQ fringed with gum trees. The grounds contain extensive tropical landscaping, a 20m solar-heated swimming pool and walking tracks into the bush.
We are pet friendly for those that have well behaved sociable dogs. For your own piece of mind, we have a secure and fenced off area just of your room for your little ones to roam around freely.
Self-serve continental breakfast included including farm fresh eggs & all day tea, coffee & biscuits.
Room service available with in-house snack menu, massages & over 300+ free movies.
Location
Our land contains a fifty meter tall gum forest and a seasonal creek, with a panoramic view to Coolum Beach and a series of dormant volcanoes. In late 2015, we will terrace our hillside with leafy green camellia sinensis tea, a beautiful contrast to our sweeping coastal and volcanic views. Yet we are only a ten minute drive to restaurants and shops, and only fifteen minutes to Noosa Heads beach, though you would never know there is anyone else nearby on our pristine property, except for resident koalas, wallabies and kookaburras.
If you love nature and the outdoors, Noosa is the perfect chilled destination with uncrowded unspoiled beaches, stunning national parks, excellent fishing, diving, cycling and many other outdoor adventure activities. We can rent you sturdy mountain bikes for exploring the surrounding the extensive trails in Tewantin National Park across the road. Noosa Heads and Noosaville are renowned for award-winning restaurants and cafes, with an abundance of fresh, local Queensland produce prepared by top chefs. We even have an adorable neighbourhood family-run pizza restaurant within walking distance. The renowned twice-weekly quirky Eumundi markets are a scenic ten minute drive from our property.
About Us
Robert and Russ are seasoned hosts who understand traveler needs, offering complete privacy and respect. With our extensive backgrounds in the hotel, restaurant and airline industries, the Royal Australian Navy, and a world class zoo, we are keen to provide you whatever you need as guests. We are athletic, open-minded, fun guys, with two cats who live in the main house and six chickens who live in the yard and lay fresh eggs every morning. Russ is a caterer, massage therapist and groomer, and he is happy to serve you a special lunch or dinner, deep tissue massage, waxing or a shave for a reasonable fee.
