Melbourne's Coffee Tour: 2015 Lord Mayor's Commendation.

Your host Maria, has over 15 years experience in managing cafes, working with coffee roasters and establishing Nationally Accredited Training Tools.

She has an accreditation in Barista judging, Coffee Training and has set up international Barista Competitions and Victorian AASCA Competitions in 2006.

She was also Victoria's Specialty Coffee Representative for AASCA at the time and continues to be a strong advocate and ambassador for the Specialty Coffee Association.

Maria has been supportive of Cafe Culture Magazine and Bean Scene and has written various articles. She is also a guest judge each year at Golden Bean,where Australia's finest coffee is judged and awarded.

She has participated and facilitated many cafe reviews, appeared on local and international television, including:

Wine Me Dine Me, The Great Cafes and Postcards.

Maria understands origin and has traveled to plantations, working closely with specialty coffee farmers ensuring our Australian Coffee addicts only ever receive a Cup of Excellence.
