If you feel like you've done every activity there is to do in Sydney, fear not.
Luckily there is still plenty to do if you're willing to drive, as there are a whole host of different options on the NSW South Coast.
In addition to the Kiama blowhole, coastal walks and beaches, the Shoalhaven area has a number of great family-friendly activities that are sure to offer a day or two of the weekend family fun.
Dolphin cruise and boom netting, Jervis Bay
Almost 100 bottlenose dolphins call Jervis Bay home, and there isn't a better place to see them than from a boat. Jervis Bay Wild has two different dolphin cruise options, with options for those who would rather be wet or stay dry.
Their Dolphin Eco Cruise lasts two hours, and you can watch the dolphins play off the bow of the boat. For the water-loving, they also have a Summer Boom Netting cruise (available till May 2015) which is a thrilling way to get a little bit closer to the dolphins.
The cruises are available on public holidays, and their boat the Port Venture, which runs both cruises, has disabled access and amenities.
Cost
The Eco Dolphin Cruise costs $35 for an adult, $22 for a child up to 14 years old, and $92 for a family of two adults and two children.
The Summer Boom Netting cruise is $45 for an adult, $30 for a child up to 14 years old and $125 for a family.
Jamberoo Action Park, Jamberoo
Just over an hour's drive from Sydney, Jamberoo Action Park offers an enormous range of waterslides and interactive water activities. Open on weekends, public holidays and some weekdays until April, it has a mix of relaxing and exciting things to do.
Highlights include a four storey water play area, and a giant bucket which tips 1200 litres of water over the area every few minutes. There are also gardens and parklands for the less water inclined to enjoy.

General admission (13 years and over) $49.99, children aged 4-12 years $41.99, and children under 3 enter free. Group options are available.
Fleet Air Arm Museum, Nowra
This is a great activity for the history buffs, military minded or those who just like planes; and as a bonus it doesn't cost a fortune.
The Fleet Air Arm Museum is a collection of naval aviation relics including more than 30 aircrafts which show the navy's aviaton history from World War 1 to today.
The museum includes a library, art gallery, gift shop and café, and is open seven days a week excluding some public holidays.
Cost
Adult entry is $10, while children under 16 are free.
Walking on Water and Ulladulla Surf Schools, Shoalhaven area
There is a large range of activities for the adventurous, suited for a variety of ages and skill levels. There are surf lessons, stand-up paddle boarding, kayak hire and tours, wake-boarding, water skiing and speedboat inflatable rides.
Walking on Water activities are available at a range of South Coast locations including Ulladulla, Mollymook, Narrawalle and Bendalong.

Illawarra Fly Tree Top Walk and Zipline Tour, Southern Highlands
Not for the faint-hearted, the Illawarra Zipline tour is the highest in Australia. The tour involves flying along up to 35 metres above the forest floor, while getting a lesson in the history and features of the forest. The Zipline tour also includes access to the treetop walk.
For the less thrill-seeking, the tree top walk itself is a 1.5 km return trail through the rainforest tree tops along two cantilevered walkways. A central tower allows panoramic views of the forest, coastal towns and the ocean.
Cost
Adults, $25, children aged 4-15 $10, and a family of two adults and two children is $64.
