Creepy footage showing 'a fleet of UFOs' hovering over the border between the USA and Mexico has mysteriously disappeared from the internet. The 14 minute-long film showed a group of seven or eight lights dancing above a border control post in Tijuana, Mexico. The sight was so unusual that border staff even abandoned their posts to watch the 'UFOs' light up the sky.

NASA study reveals how much radiation REALLY hits you when you travel by plane
NASA researchers launched a large helium balloon into the stratosphere from Fort Sumner, New Mexico to study the effects of cosmic radiation in our atmosphere. They found a steady increase in the rate of radiation higher in the atmosphere. The research has important implications for aircrew in the aviation industry, as they're exposed to nearly double the radiation levels of people on the ground. Rates for Nov. 14, 2012, 20:00-21:00 GMT are shown above. Warmer colors indicate higher amounts of radiation.
The 'cosmic origins' periodic table that reveals where every element came from
Professor Jennifer Johnson, an astronomer at The Ohio State University, has re-created a periodic table color-coded with the cosmic origins of all the elements. The table draws on research from astronomers and physicists who studied the universe and its origins.Hydrogen, the most common element in the universe - was produced during the Big Bang 13.4 million years ago

Coughton Court's secret room: 3D scans finally unveil a priest hole hidden in the walls of the famous 'gunpowder plot' Tudor mansion
The secrets of a hidden room in Coughton Court (3D computer model shown), a Tudor mansion linked to the plot to assassinate King James I in 1605 have been revealed in a new study. Researchers at the University of Nottingham, led by Dr Chris King, examined the historic building using 3D scanning lasers. Pictured inset is the location of the hidden room within the building. Despite being outlawed, many priests travelled around England in disguise and performed banned Catholic ceremonies in secret. These secret ceremonies were often at the country homes of wealthy Catholic families like Coughton Court.
The undercover return of the space shuttle: Dream Chaser mini 'space taxi' arrives at Edwards Air Force Base ahead of 2019 missions to the International Space Station
It is the return of the shuttle - albeit in a somewhat smaller form. Sierra Nevada Corporation has delivered its Dream Chaser spacecraft Wednesday to NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center in California, located on Edwards Air Force Base. There, it will undergo several months of testing as part of a NASA contract to use it to deliver cargo to the ISS in 2019.
NASA displays Apollo 1 capsule hatch 50 years after fatal fire that killed Gus Grissom, Ed White and Roger Chaffee as Buzz Aldrin leads tributes with emotional tweet about 'my best friend'
NASA today opened an exhibit honoring the astronauts in the Apollo 1 fire — 50 years to the day they died. The hatch from the burning spacecraft is the main draw (main image), and had been concealed, along with the capsule, for a half-century. It comes as Buzz Aldrin led tributes to Gus Grissom, Ed White and Roger Chaffee (top right, during a training mission) with an emotional tweet describing White as 'my best friend.'

The strange object, named 2016 WF9, was discovered last year. Self-proclaimed Russian astronomer Dr Dyomin Damir Zakharovich said it is heading straight towards our planet. Nasa said the mysterious object will safely pass Earth at a distance of nearly 32 million miles (51 million kilometres) next month.
Remains of a medieval pilgrim with leprosy in one of Britain's first hospitals offers new clues on how the disease spread throughout Europe
The skeleton of a medieval leprosy victim found in one of Britain's earliest known hospitals has shed light on the history of the disfiguring disease. The remains of a young man were found in the St Mary Magdalen leprosarium near Winchester, Hampshire. Researchers suggests the man was a religious pilgrim who may have caught the disease while travelling around Europe. They also discovered that, at least in his death, he was given a traditional pilgrim burial and was not treated as an outcast. The man was not from the Winchester area and possibly Spanish because of the rare find of a scallop shell buried with him (inset).
Meet the modern crash test dummies: Researchers create old and obese models to 'better reflect the American population'
Crash-test dummies are aging and packing on the pounds to better reflect the American population. Engineers at Humanetics and researchers at the University of Michigan have unveiled two new models that they believe better reflect society - an overweight 70-year-old female dummy (left) and a 273-pound obese dummy (middle) that is 106 pounds heavier than the previous design. The changes were brought on after doctors reported that the crash-test dummies looked nothing like their patients, as they all have military physiques (right).

Drone footage uploaded to YouTube by the Arizona Geological Survey (AZGS) shows the massive fissure splitting the desert's surface in the Tator Hills area of southern Pinal County. The film shows people dwarfed by the crack as they stand next to the edge, as the drone flies over the wide open crack which extends farther into the earth then the eye can see.
