Police are investigating a one-punch attack on the Gold Coast on Saturday afternoon, in which a man was knocked out.
Emergency services were called to an assault on Trickett Street in Surfers Paradise about 1.20pm where they found a man in his 40s unconscious.
Paramedics treated the victim, who regained consciousness before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Police were investigating the incident and the male attacker remained on the run.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said the assault was being treated as a possible road rage incident, however police were not able to confirm.
Reports suggested a father and daughter were attacked on the Gold Coast during a road rage incident.
