You wouldn't want the aisle seat on this flight! Passenger captures incredible video of the Northern Lights while on a budget jet over Norway
- Anders Hanssen was travelling on a Norwegian Air flight from Oslo to Tromso
- The part-time photographer was allowed to sit in the cockpit for a better view
- He filmed the aurora from a plane in high quality for more than an hour
Forget a pricey hotel in the Arctic - a man has captured one of the best videos of the Aurora Borealis of all time... for the price of a budget plane ticket.
Anders Hanssen, 38, from Senja, Norway, was on a Norwegian Air flight from Oslo to Tromso when he spotted the natural phenomenon - which lasted the whole one hour flight.
The part-time photographer had always dreamt of filming the Northern Lights from an aeroplane and as he knew the pilots on his flight, he was allowed to sit in the cockpit while the colours formed in front of their eyes.

Anders, who owns Visit Senja, a local tourist company, said: 'I was so lucky to capture the aurora while on a plane.
'I had the best view and it was like I was in heaven.
'I think people love the Northern Lights because it can be such a mind-blowing experience when [you see] the whole sky change and colours flow, create patterns and change speed.
'I felt like I was in heaven because it was really nice to be inside the plane when the strong aurora came.

'As far as I know I am still the only one who has filmed the aurora from a plane in high quality and the dream is always to do something original.'
'I have always loved it and will continue shooting "the dancing lady,"' also known as "Miss Aurora".
'I'm currently working on a few exciting projects and can't wait to share more pictures and videos like this.'
