Customer Reviews

Reviewing the app not the content.

The app itself is one of the better designed news apps, easy to use and navigate whilst still having nearly all the features that could want. However this is wasted potential as what is a good format is ruined by a host of niggling and unprofessional errors. The key ones are as follows; after every few pictures you swipe through, you get an ad pop up (and yes some are the noisy auto-play videos); sometimes you haven't even clicked an ad and you are taken suddenly to the App Store by some mysterious force; quotation boxes, pictures and ads can often be misplaced on the page and cover up the story you are trying to read and posting a comment from the app often doesn't work and your comment never appears (although this admittedly could just be an over-zealous idiot in their moderation department, there's no way to know for sure). So there you have it, an easy to use and straight forward app that is riddled with little bugs that after a while amalgamate themselves into a rather annoying experience.

The lowest form of something that informs you about NOTHING!!!!

If the Daily Mail disappeared it would be one of the best things that happened to humanity for a long time! With its roster of useless and ignorant staff, some of whom believe they are called journalists! If you're into body shaming or the occasional story of how the Daily Mail has recently discovered that the Earth is round then this garbage is for you. The Daily Mail also likes to churn out endless pictures of pop stars Z Listers wearing nothing but underwear who's music and TV work is directed at teenagers, so chuck a bit of child sexualisation in there for good measure. The Daily Mail really is the lowest form of something that informs you about NOTHING!!!!

Rubbish

The daily mail app used to be my favourite news app. It's straight forward and easy to use. Prior to using the app I have read the daily mail for 30 plus years. Now the app is all but unusable. Ads take over the whole thing, popping up rapidly as you try to read, auto start ad videos and auto re direct to the App Store. That coupled with the standard of reporting, a few short paragraph's repeated three or four times, numerous spelling and grammar mistakes. The content has changed as well, it's certainly not a serious news paper any more. It should carry a ref top to warn the reader that it's more of a comic than serious journalism. Wholly disappointed.
