This pamphlet/catalog was produced to accompany Mobile Print Power's Soñamos Sentirnos Libres: Under Construction exhibition in summer 2016.
The exhibition highlighted old and new collaborations between Mobile Print Power—a multigenerational silkscreen collective based out of Immigrant Movement International in Corona, Queens—and seven organizations in the form of workshops and events. These workshops will develop throughout its run, creating ongoing collaborative processes. A series of public events engaged different communities with the ideas behind MPP’s work, including solidarity, collaboration, immigrant identity, and the role of the artist.
The Soñamos Sentirnos Libres catalog is a compilation of essays and images produced throughout the exhibition, which features contributions and reflections from the many collaborators involved. This is a bilingual publication in Spanish and English.
