Mine came out in the wash. I had to straighten a wire hanger, except for a little loop at the end. Then put the string inside the loop and feed the hanger slowly through the hood tube-thingy. Godspeed.

I'm with OP on this one. I'll #2 at work if I have to, but I prefer the privacy and comfort of my own home. What baffles me even more is the apparent diet of people on my floor at work. I avoid going into the bathroom during and just after lunch hours because it's like a shit-off in there. I'm talking the really nasty stuff that spatters against the back of the toilet.
