A new dad turned the birth of his son into a double celebration, recruiting his little one for a surprise marriage proposal.
In the hours after his son Ryder's birth, Darick Mead, of Nebraska, dressed his bub in a special onesie bearing the words, "Mommy, will you marry my Daddy?"
Ryder also wore an engagement ring on his teeny tiny finger.
His very excited mum, Susan Medina, shared photos of the sweet moment to Twitter and Facebook. "So this happened tonight," she wrote.
