Anthony Mosse (born 29 October 1964 in Hong Kong) was the standard bearer for New Zealand competitive swimming through the 1980s. He swam at his first Commonwealth Games, in Brisbane, Australia in 1982, when he was 17. Two years later, at the Los Angeles Olympics, he made the final in his two butterfly events.

At the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland, he won gold and silver and in the same year was second in the 200m butterfly final at the world championships. Mosse developed his career in the United States but continued to swim for New Zealand, gaining a bronze medal at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, Korea. He rounded out his superlative career when he won the 200m butterfly at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland.

Mosse gained a BA(Hons) from Stanford University in 1989 and later completed an MBA at the same university. He and his American wife Gail have two children. He is now a merchant banker in San Francisco, but continues to be involved in swimming and is a regular commentator for TVNZ (including Beijing, 2008).

Anthony "Shake" Shakir, who also uses the aliases Sequence 10 and Da Sampla, is an American techno producer, best known for his contributions to Detroit techno.

Shakir began producing in 1981, and worked with Detroit musicians such as Derrick May and Carl Craig for many of their early Metroplex releases. Shakir appeared under the name Sequence 10 on the Virgin Records compilation Techno: The New Dance Sound of Detroit.

While many of his peers on the Detroit scene have worked to increase their profile in Europe, Shakir never gravitated toward this scene, working more closely with the second wave of Detroit techno musicians such as Mike Banks and Claude Young. He formed the labels Frictional in 1995 and Puzzlebox in 1996, the latter with Keith Tucker.

Among Shakir's credits are remixes for Telex and Inner City, as well as co-production of the Urban Tribe's 1998 album for Mo Wax, The Collapse of Modern Culture.

J. Moss (born James Moss, December 25, 1971), Detroit, Michigan is an American singer-songwriter, composer, arranger, and producer.

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan as James Moss went to Cass Technical High School, the son of Gospel star Bill Moss, Sr., James spent much of his childhood on tours with his father's popular group, Bill Moss and the Celestials, and his cousin's group The Clark Sisters. As an early teen, Moss was teamed with his brother Bill Moss,Jr. in the singing duo The Moss Brothers. They toured on weekends around the midwest and recorded two major label albums during their seven years together.

In this period James developed as a keyboardist and burgeoning songwriter. He was also learning first-hand the business of music. He attended Michigan State University for two years, but the desire to write and perform was too strong, and he left to seek a career in music.

Upon his return to Detroit, Moss signed with a small local Christian label Aviday Records and released two albums to little fanfare. Yet, during this time he became acquainted with Paul Allen and Walter Kearney. The three began working together as PAJAM. Moss spent the mid-90s touring with The Clark Sisters and was signed, along with Karen Clark-Sheard, his cousin, to Island Records in 1996 to record a solo album. While a proper release never materialized for Moss before Island Black Music shut its doors, Clark's became a smash and introduced the Gospel world to the production powerhouse of PAJAM.
