If you're a parent, chances are that at some point - no matter how organised you are - you've found yourself dealing with an unexpected poo-mageddon completely unarmed.

For one mother, Sarah, the "crazy blowout" happened in a HomeGoods store in the US - an incident she called an "unmitigated disaster".

Having survived to tell the tale, Sarah decided to give back - leaving a pile of nappies and wipes in the HomeGoods store bathroom along with a note of reassurance.

Sarah's act of kindness has since gone viral, after a snap of the note and nappies was shared online.

The note reads, "I once found myself in this exact spot with a newborn with a crazy blowout and no diapers or wipes. An unmitigated disaster, that was! Just in case you have found yourself in the same sort of pickle, I brought in some wipes and diapers to save the day. Good luck out there! Happy holidays!"

"Made my day," shared Instagramer Christina Causland along with the photo.

It's made ours too ...

Aren't mums just the best?

I don't know you Sarah, but you're a gem! #gooddeeds #upworthy #HomeGoods #mademyday
