What's it about?
A bittersweet comedy about addiction that features an all-star cast, Thanks For Sharing stars Mark Ruffalo as Adam, a sex addict who maintains sexual sobriety by understanding his triggers. He relies on a support group led by Mike (Tim Robbins), who leads by example, but has arguably found a substitute for his sexual addiction in his dependence on the recovery program itself. Neil (Josh Gad) is a young doctor who risks his career as a result of his to addictive behaviour. After a lengthy bout of self-imposed celibacy, Adam feels he might be ready for a meaningful relationship, and he makes the tentative first steps to date Phoebe (Gwyneth Paltrow), until he learns that she is resolutely against dating any sort of addict.
