A teenager has been charged with theft and firearm charges after he was arrested by an officer who was on duty in the police helicopter.
The whole episode was filmed by a second police aircraft.
The helicopter was tasked to follow a stolen Holden Commodore on Friday afternoon after the driver, who was on bail, failed to stop for a police patrol in Seville Grove.
Polair 61 tracked the car through Rockingham, Kwinana and several other southern suburbs all the way to Waroona.

A police fixed wing aircraft also joined the pursuit.
Waroona Police used a stinger to burst the tyres of the Commodore as it was driven along South West Highway but the 16-year-old drove on at high speed before abandoning the car and climbing over a barbed wire fence and running through a paddock.
Video from the fixed wing aircraft shows the police helicopter repeatedly hovering in front of the alleged thief and cutting off his escape route before eventually landing.
An officer then jumped out of the helicopter and arrested the boy.
He faces nine charges including possessing a firearm and ammunition, stealing a car, reckless driving and breach of bail.
