Queensland police have released pictures of a man wanted over the sexual assault of a backpacker at a Brisbane hostel.
It's alleged a man entered a backpackers hostel on Upper Roma Street about 5.30am on January 18 and inappropriately touched a woman asleep in a bed.
He left after being ordered out by her but loitered in the area for several hours before visiting another nearby backpackers.
The man is thought to be between 20 and 30 years old, of Indian appearance and average build, and have dark brown hair, blue eyes and stubble or light facial hair.
