I AGREE with Keith Pitman (The Courier, January 24, 2017) regarding the introduction of maximum terms for all elected representatives. Such a change could bring an impetus to plan for the future rather than responding to each crisis as it arises.

It would be difficult to argue the necessity of not developing this site and I applaud the Andrews government's initiative in doing so. However, in reviewing the current proposed plans, I see numerous problems which at best do not meet the needs of this community.
