The site: FindABabysitter.com.au is Australia's largest online babysitter website! We pride ourselves on helping parents find the perfect nanny or babysitter for their families' needs. We are the most affordable and efficient way for parents and sitters to meet each other. The company: Find A Babysitter is Australian owned and was acquired in December 2009 by Fairfax Media Ltd. FindABabysitter.com.au is now the market leader and operates Australia-wide, except for Tasmania (due to government legislation).
The founders: The business was established in 2005 by founders Delia Timms & Jeff Bonnes (pictured) who as parents recognised a real need for access to a great list of quality carers.
The carers: All of the babysitters and nannies on the site are aged 18 and over and provide a very detailed profile online. They are asked to have a police check and references available for parents to see. Babysitters come with a range of skills and experience. Many are students of Early Childhood Education, Teaching and Allied Health courses, from reputable universities. Others are professional nannies with years of experience.
