Exclusive subscriber event – Philippe Parreno: Thenabouts at ACMI

Subscribers can attend an exclusive, after hours viewing of Philippe Parreno: Thenabouts on February 27. The evening also includes wine and cheese on arrival, plus an introduction by ACMI curator, Emma McCrae.

For his first solo exhibition in Australia, renowned contemporary artist Philippe Parreno presents a singular retrospective of his filmic works as a cinematic ensemble. In Thenabouts the artist’s films play with temporal and spatial boundaries, guiding the visitor through a complex journey of images, duration, and memory.

The experience is controlled live by a gallery technician and no two visits are ever the same.

This event is exclusive to subscribers of The Age. Tickets are just $5 for subscribers and their guests, and include pre-event drinks and cheese (6.00pm), an introduction from ACMI curator, Emma McCrae (6.30pm), plus exclusive after hours access to the exhibition (6.45pm).
