The Centre provides a range of services, including childcare, youth outreach, and support for women who have experienced domestic violence. Ashes of Minnesota sisters found dead in the Seychelles are given to their family

The ashes of sisters Annie and Robin Korkki (pictured left and right, top), who were found dead at a luxury resort in The Seychelles, were handed over to their family on Saturday following a private cremation on Friday. A private cremation ceremony for the two women was held on the same day the autopsy results into their sudden death were revealed by police. A police spokesman confirmed to Dailymail.com that the ashes of the two women were returned to their mother Susan and brother Mike at their island hotel. They were the only people present at the cremation on Friday having traveled to the Indian Ocean island from their home in the US to seek answers over the pair's sudden death (coffin makers are pictured bottom at the cremation parlor where their bodies were taken for cremation). Shocked friends and family members are now awaiting the results of toxicology tests being carried at a laboratory on the island of Mauritius. The tests will determine what exactly caused the sisters, who were on a month long vacation, to suddenly die lying side by side on their bed at the Maia Luxury Resort and Spa (inset).

Dashcam footage and audio that was recently released indicates that two Sacramento police officers may have tried to hit a homeless man with their police cruiser before fatally shooting him. The shocking video shows the police attempting to run over 50-year-old Joseph Mann on July 11. Audio from the video was enhanced by the Sacramento Bee and includes the voices of the two officers in the car. As the officers take pursuit of Mann, one can be heard saying: 'F*** this guy.' Officers Randy Lozoya and John Tennis, can also be heard saying 'I'm gonna hit him' and 'OK, go for it' before appearing to drive their cruiser toward Mann, based on the dashcam released by police. They attempted to hit Mann twice, but he was able to dodge the cruiser both times. The two officers then proceeded to pursue Mann on foot before shooting him dead at least 14 times.

Photographer, Nikita Teryoshin, gained access into a tight-knit arms fair called the MSPO which was held in Kielce, a small town in Poland. Teryoshin joined businessmen, soldiers, politicians and civilians at the event where he captured startling images of an unseen world for his ongoing photo series, Nothing Personal. The MSPO is the biggest military trade fair in Eastern Europe that takes place annually. Nearly 100 years after Joseph E. Hughes (right) served in World War I, his dog tag (top left) appeared mysteriously on the side of a Massachusetts road. After a social media hunt, it was returned to his family. While walking his dog along Oliver Street in Randolph, Massachusetts, a good Samaritan noticed the tiny piece of metal and stopped to pick it up. Recognizing its value, the man brought the item to the Randolph Police Department on a day when officer Kevin Aldred (bottom left, left) was working. The metal tag bore Hughes' name and several numbers, although the circular plate was now weathered and chipped. Determined to get the dog tag back to its rightful owner, Aldred began a search for Hughes' family until he found the veteran's 66-year-old grandson and namesake Joe Hughes (bottom left, right).

Fighter jets with a top speed of 1,190mph take off and land on public roads in Finland during a training exercise

The Highway 5 motorway, in Lusi, southern Finland, had been cleared so pilots could practice using public roads. This is in case conventional runways are destroyed by enemy at the start of a conflict. The usual flow of vehicles on the road, which runs 560 miles from Lusi to Sodankylä in the north, was replaced by the thunderous noise of the F/A-18 fighters.(pictured taking off, left to right) European countries developed the concept of roadway landing strips during the Cold War amid fears of a nuclear conflict.

Ethiopian tribesmen pictured taking part in dangerous near-naked fighting ritual

The images, taken in southern Ethiopia, capture members of the Suri tribe take part in a fighting ritual, at a time when their way of life is under threat. The clashes between villages are traditionally seen as a way of impressing women, and getting young men used to the bloodshed they will face if they go into battle with other tribes.
