Food fanatic and host David shared a snap on Instagram on Thursday of the six-year-olds helping out in the kitchen.

The twins were whipping up some cupcakes, with Harper in charge of stirring up the mixture and Gideon taking more of a head chef approach and directing his sister.

The tots had a little help with their nanny making sure to do the more adult parts of the recipe, namely man the oven.

The adorable duo were dressed the part with Harper wearing a pink gingham chef's toque and an apron with the alphabet printed on it.

Her brother meanwhile wore a chef's hat with kitchen instruments on it and a apron featuring Target's dog mascot Bullseye.
