Bikini-clad Danielle Lloyd shows off her curves as she puts her troubles behind her in Dubai... after publicly slamming ex-husband Jamie O'Hara

She’s suffered a less than auspicious start to 2017, but domestic troubles were put to one side as Danielle Lloyd soaked up the sun during a recent trip to Dubai.

The former model, 33, showed off her curves in a vibrantly patterned bikini after hitting the beach for a much needed day of rest and recuperation in the increasingly popular Arab playground.

Sporting a pair of heavily tinted Aviator sunglasses, Danielle was in high spirits as she ventured into the water for a brief paddle.

Standing knee deep in the Persian Gulf, the mother-of-three looked reflective as she gazed out at the sweeping horizon. 

The former Miss England and Miss Great Britain was in fine form as she worked on her tan during a rare outing without her three children - Archie, Harry and George. 

Making her way back onto dry land, Danielle appeared content to work on her all over tan by stretching out on the sand.

Meanwhile, Danielle was recently interviewed for YouTube’s The Showbiz Show about her views on ex husband Jamie O'Hara being in CBB.

She said: 'All I care about is my children, they are my main concern, it is hard but I am just trying to get with it and still be positive'. 

'He just told me [he was going in] the day before. Obviously I know about BB I have experienced it before, I know how it can turn your life around and it can be the most fantastic thing.

'But I didn’t have any children when I went in there but I have grown so much since then and I have my kids now and obviously all my experiences throughout my past are going to be able to help me raise them'.

Responding to being called a gold-digger, she said: 'I am a normal down to earth girl, I have always made my own money I have my own job and my own career. 

'My main concern is my kids, that's my full-time job is being a Mum and making sure they are ok.'

Danielle also touched upon Nicola McLean, who is also in the house.

She said: 'We have never been the best of friends, obviously we are acquaintances. 

'We have done a lot of WAG work together if that's what you want to call it so we have done jobs together. 

'I think I was obviously really upset about the comments she has made about me being a wannabe WAG. I'm not ashamed of it, I think the way she is acting in there is stemming from her insecurities and over her own marriage which is really quite sad really.

'I have been in her situation with people cheating on me and its just not nice, but I had the respect for myself to leave so...'

Danielle's former marriage to footballer Jamie O'Hara, the father of her three boys, has also come under scrutiny following his appearance on the current series of Celebrity Big Brother.  

The former model recently blasted Jamie for claiming he was appearing on the show to help pay a reported £15,000 a month to his ex-wife.

She told OK! magazine:  ‘It was so uncalled for. He is making out I get all this money and I think it looks like I’ve taken everything from him. He’s trying to make people feel sorry for him.

‘I just need to tell the truth because I can’t cope with all the abuse I’m getting. It’s making me physically depressed. I’ve had anxiety attacks, chest pains and I’ve been in constant tears.

'I’m a nervous wreck. I’ve had threats from girls on social media. Jamie has gone in there and said those things about me, but I’m not some money grabber.’

After entering CBB, Jamie revealed to Danielle's long-time rival Nicola McClean that she had warned him not to discuss her - a rule he soon flouted.

Lamenting their fraught financial situation, he explained to his housemates: 'When I was with her, I was earning really good money and she kind of expected that to continue. I’m not on that money no more!'

He added: 'I'd give my kids my last penny, and it hurts me, because I'm like, 'f*****g hell, I'm paying out. 

'I'm trying to be a little bit appreciated. I am paying out a fortune, you do understand that. I am paying out a lot of money still. It's so f****ng draining, just a constant battle.'

Elsewhere Danielle bravely revealed that she was the victim of an attempted sexual assault aged 13. 

Appearing on Channel 5 show In Therapy, she admitted gravely: 'That predator took my innocence away and I can never get it back. It’s affected the way I’ve been in relationships, my self esteem, everything.'

She further explained that the incident had occurred during a dinner on a school trip to Austria, when the instructor followed her teenage self into the toilets.

The star recalled being dragged into one of the cubicles and the horror of the moment.

While she confessed he had both inappropriately touched her and became violent, she admitted she was lucky things didn't take a turn for the worse.
