But it finally appears there is one thing Hugh Jackman hasn't quite mastered - the classic stage performance with a cane.

On Friday, the Logan actor shared the hilarious video of him fumbling a complicated cane twirl in rehearsals, seemingly ending in a knock to the jaw.

The funny clip shared with Hugh's 9.5 million Instagram followers, was apparently shot when the star was in Istanbul in May 2015 when he was forced to cancel a show.

The actor is seen dressed casually in a grey T-shirt and denim jeans and is the picture of concentration as he tries his very best to master an elaborate cane trick.

 'It's there, there,' Hugh can be heard muttering before adding 'No!' as he fumbles  the prop.

Starting again, the X-Men actor twirls the cane and seems to nearly master the trick- but the prop drops slightly out of his hand and possibly hits Hugh in the face.

The actor captions the video by making fun of his mutterings as he stuffed up the stunt.

'It's there, there?!' he writes, also adding the hashtag #istanbul to let his fans know where the video was taken.
