She's Coming Out! Diana Ross bundles up in sweats and Uggs for grocery run in Los Angeles

She's one of the most legendary vocalists alive today.

But that doesn't mean Diana Ross is above stepping out for a spot of grocery shopping, which she did on Thursday in Los Angeles.

The 72-year-old former Supremes songstress looked quite comfortable in her cozy shopping ensemble.

She opted for an olive green sweatsuit, which she tucked into a pair of classic Ugg boots.

Adding even more warmth was a black shawl worn around her shoulders.

Though it wasn't exactly sunny, she still hid her eyes with an oversize pair of black shades.

Of course her wild, curly raven locks were on full display, and allowed to waft freely in the breeze.

It seems she was only in the market for a few items, as her shopping bag appeared to be mostly empty.

She also appeared to be having a good time during the outing.

Back in November, Diana was one of the last group of talents to receive the Medal of Freedom.

During a ceremony at the White House President Barack Obama gave out the awards -- the nation's highest civilian honor -- for his last time to a diverse group of sports stars, scientists, artists and philanthropists.

At the time, the then-president said 'everybody on this stage has touched me in a very powerful personal way. It's useful when you think about this incredible collection of people to realize that this is what makes us the greatest nation on earth.'

In addition to Diana, the star-studded group included actors Tom Hanks and Robert Redford, basketball great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and comedian and talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres.
