Dress to impress in a strapless gown like Nina

After making her rounds to promote her latest film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, Nina Dobrev attended the LA premiere dressed to impress in an embellished gown by Elie Saab.

Pulled from the Spring 2017 collection, the strapless number had a sexy thigh high slit, a silk column maxi skirt and a sequined bodice that was embroidered with stars.

Nina teamed it with a pair of white pumps and she wore a sparkly pin in her loose wavy hair for a look that was both youthful and effervescent - just perfect for the red carpet!

If you've got a big event on the horizon and you want to capture everyone's attention, take a page out of Nina's style book and rock a sultry sequined frock.

The final has been penned by co-creators Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson, who are over the moon that the xXx: Return of Xander Cage star has come back for one last episode.

Plec said: 'I'm thrilled to bring this show to an end the way we always intended - with Nina back to help us say goodbye.'

Williamson added: 'I'm so excited to have Nina back to ensure our farewell episode is truly epic.'

Coming back! Nina shared this snap of her script on Thursday as she prepared for her return to the CW show

The brunette beauty left the show after series six in 2014, reflecting on her character's journey at the time, she said: 'I always knew I wanted Elena's story to be a six season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime.

'I was a human, a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger.

Co-creator Kevin Williamson said: 'I'm so excited to have Nina back to ensure our farewell episode is truly epic.'

'I got kidnapped, killed, resurrected, tortured, cursed, body-snatched, was dead and undead, and there's still so much more to come before the season finale in May. Elena fell in love not once, but twice, with two epic soulmates, and I myself made some of the best friends I'll ever know and built an extended family I will love forever.'

Last week Nina celebrated her birthday with a La La Land-themed party and made it a joint bash with pal and polo player Ronnie Bacardi, also known as Omar Mangalji at a Hollywood club.

The actress welcomed several celebrity pals to her celebration including Julianne Hough and her brother Derek as well as actor Aaron Paul and actress Jessica Stam.
