Orlando Bloom swapped the red carpet for the school corridor today as he taught a drama class at a Manchester school.
The Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings star met youngsters at Cheadle Hulme High School in Greater Manchester, where he gave advice to aspiring young actors.
And social media was soon awash with selfies and comments from excitable teenagers who couldn't quite believe the Hollywood actor was in their midst.

The actor offered advice to young aspiring actors as he launched a new trust that will inspire students to explore and enjoy drama and teach skills that will help them in later life.

Another added: 'Orlando Bloom is in Manchester...I'm in Manchester...Time to meet my future husband I think.'
Another student tweeted: 'next week I'm hoping for Leonardo DiCaprio', while one youngster tweeted: 'someone pls tell me why Orlando Bloom is like a mile away from my house.'
But not everyone was quite so excited.
One unimpressed student wrote on Twitter: 'CBA why is Orlando Bloom at my high school.'
Another offered to take Orlando out for 'a few jars and some quinoa crisps' and others highlighted the fact they were single.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star was joined by his former drama coach and stage star Paapa Essiedu to launch the Laurus Trust.
Acting coach Patsy Rodenburg and her two former students worked with the education team from the Royal Shakespeare Company to run a series of sessions at Cheadle Hulme High School in Greater Manchester, the founder academy of the trust.
Bloom told the students: 'Studying the art of performance changed my life forever - opening the door to the career I love.
'I believe that every student, regardless of where they went to school, deserves the chance to learn these skills and it's fantastic that Patsy and the Laurus Trust are placing such importance on this area.
'The focus on core areas like presence, rhetoric and performance is really giving these students the tools to succeed, whether its acting on stage or competing for the best jobs and university places.'
