Now WIRE nails are the latest beauty trend: Manicurist creates incredibly intricate designs out of shaped metal... so would you try it?
- Eun Kyung Park is the founder of the Unistella salon in Seoul, South Korea
- She's the manicurist who came up with trendy glass and diamond nail trends
- Her latest innovation involves making nail art using shaped pieces of gold wire
The latest nail trend to shake up the beauty world? Wire manicures.
The mastermind behind the innovative look is Eun Kyung Park, the founder of the Unistella salon in Seoul, South Korea.
She's also the woman behind glass nails, diamond nails and gemstone nails.
But her latest idea involves using thin pieces of wires to create stunning 3D designs on the nails - ranging from simple cuticle accents to intricate patterns.

Ms Park explained that the inspiration for her technique is the neon sign.
'When you make neon signs, you have to bend the wires to make certain lettering,' she told Marie Claire.
'It's one long wire that's bent to create and connect the letters.'
She added: 'I thought this was really cool and since nails are an accessory, I wanted it to be used for expression. Like rings.'
Intricate: The trend comes from Unistella salon founder Eun Kyung Park, who uses thin gold wire that she shapes using tweezers
Simple: One look using wires is outlining the nail with wire and creating stiletto tips
In order to achieve the intricate manicures showcased on the Unistella Instagram page, Ms Park used the thinnest gold wire she could get her hands on.
She manipulates the coils using tweezers and places the shaped wire on the nails painted with clear gel polish before letting it all settle in place under a UV light and adding a top coat.
And for those looking to emulate the latest trend, Ms Park advises them to be wary of the sharp ends of the wire.
'Keep in mind that since it's a wire, you have to make sure the sharp end has a nice finish so it doesn't get caught in clothes,' she added to Marie Claire.
Chic: The wire nail trend can be used minimally, with cuticle accents like in the manicure above

Cool: Others have used wire in their manicures, including nail artist Ann Mari Kanazawa Lanier
