She's set to get tongues wagging as she plays Rachel McAdams' on-screen lover.

And Rachel Weisz looked remarkably relaxed as she continued to shoot scenes for the hotly anticipated new movie Disobedience in north London on Friday morning.

The actress, 46, who is set to play Ronit, was ready to combat the cool winter chill as she wrapped up warm in a chic overcoat and checked scarf.

The Mummy star looked a far cry from her usually preened and polished self, instead decked out in a knee-grazing overcoat with a thick plaid scarf draped around her shoulders.

Rachel's simple ensemble was completed with form-fitting jeans and chunky lace-up boots, while the star kept her tiny hands warm in black fingerless gloves.

The actress looked in high spirits as she enjoyed a quick break from the grueling filming schedule.

With a simple middle-parting, the British beauty wore her long chestnut tresses in a loosely tousled manner which cascaded down her petite frame.

The Constantine actress wore a simple layer of make-up, which was frequently touched up by the on-hand make-up artist.

Based on the Naomi Alderman novel Disobedience, the story follows a young woman (Weisz) as she rekindles a repressed romance with her best friend (McAdams) after returning home.

Adding to the scandal, Weisz's character Ronit is married to McAdams cousin in the film.

Weisz is also producing the film, revealing last year that she is spending much of her time buying up rights to develop books into movies.

'So far it’s just been books where I can see parts for me to act in,' she told The Independent recently. 'It’s been interesting.

'I’ve done enough films that I have a sense of what I want to do. I’ve read enough scripts. I can’t write, but I can develop.'

Rachel married James Bond heartthrob Daniel Craig in a romantic ceremony in June 2011 in New York after they met in December 2010.

She was previously married to producer Darren Aronofsky, who she met backstage at a London theatre and separated from in 2010 - the pair have a son Henry Chance Aronofsky.
